They set up keep in an abandoned cottage and adopt false names. One day, they encounter an unconscious man, and bring him home so Teagan can nurse him back to health. They strive to keep their true identity from the injured man. Afraid he may have been sent by their father.
During his convalescence, Lord Sebastian uncovers the truth about Teagan and the more he gets to know her the more he yearns for her and wants to keep her safe. As Murray’s men descend on the cottage with orders to kill, they take to the forest in hopes of staying alive. Will they make it to the safety of his family home alive?
