I am not someone who usually goes the short story collection route, but I did in this case because I know one of the authors and like his writing. It's a solid collection of stories with varied writing styles. I don't expect that every single person will love each and every story, but all of them did keep me engaged and a few were right in my wheelhouse for my usual reading taste (Charles Finch, John Steinbeck, Agatha Christie, and David Sedaris) Love the book cover as well...I guess, in this case, I would suggest judging a book by its cover.
