Having enjoyed Paul Christopher's Templar Conspiracy, I was looking forward to Lost City Of The Templars. What a letdown. This isn't even an entire book. The story stops in the middle, being a setup for a sequel...which I will not buy. What exists is not even good. Characters flit around from one location to the next without much sense or believability, making you think the author was racing to make a deadline and didn't care about his readers. B&N should give buyers a credit on a real book. Don't waste your money on this.

I pretty much "agree" with BZak, but I'd go up a bit in the ratings. Not ONLY was the book disjointed and without an "ending", Christopher killed off two of the four main characters, leaving one with a sense of futility and frustration. It DOES seem like the author was more interested in filling up 400 pages in a hurry than in producing a work that met his prior quality. In summary, the ending SUCKED, and there was no suggestion as to a next voume...I guess we're waiting for Peggy & Ravi's funeral first! :( PS: I'm STILL waiting for "Doc" to find the other three swords!

Too many characters to keep straight. The main characters aren't developed enough for the reader to grow fond of them. The book jumps around much too quickly for the reader to become engrossed in the scene. This author is no threat to Clive Cussler or James Rollin, for sure!

I have been huge Paul Christopher fan and enjoyed the Templar series. I have been lookng forward to this book and have to say was disappointed. 185 page short story that seemed rushed and not finished. So many directions it could have gone and it just abruptly ends. I hope the next book will be a redeemer.

I was very sad this was poorly written, too short and what w as all the running everywhere with no real sense of purpose? And 10 bucks for this? I want my money back.
