Lost in an Idyllby Mr. Joseph B Bender
An epic poem written in blank verse and inspired (in part) by Homer, Virgil, Dante, Milton, and The Bible, Lost in an Idyll tells the story of Paul, a surfer and entomologist, who travels to beautiful Amazonas, Colombia, in search of undiscovered insect species. There, he becomes lost in the vast and unforgiving forest, fights in a surreal war, learns a life-changing lesson, and encounters diverse and striking flora and fauna along the way.

If you enjoyed the classic Greek epics like The Aeneid and The Iliad and Odyssey you will enjoy this. It is a novel twist on the classic poetry style for a modern era. Complete with intense battles and a good message. Highly recommended.
