About the Author

Christie was born and raised in a suburb of Salt Lake City, Ut. She lives less than a mile from the home she grew up in. World traveler she is not. But what she lacked in travel she more than made up for in her imagination. Within her vivid imagination she has traveled the world over as well as different worlds and different times.
She works a full time day job to pay the bills but looses herself in books and her writing whenever possible.
She is a loving mother of two wonderful children that she admits she is obsessed with. She has been married for 18 years to a very tolerant man that is grounded in reality in order for her to fly to the heights of her own imagination.
She started writing when she was a teenager after reading a book that she didn't like the ending too. Took a hiatus to raise her wonderful children but has dedicated herself to becoming a published writer for the last several years.

I love this book.  At the moment I am in the middle of several stories and this one really stands out.  It is your classic tale of forbidden love but presented in a far from "classic" way.  As a reader I was definitely entertained by Marcus and Celeste.  Of course I knew they would "get together" and it takes a very long time to get to the point that they see their fascination with one another.  But eventually they get there.  I am used to reading about Angels, mythological characters and even undead characters.  But sex demons?  Well, that one was entirely new.  This book is for adults only.  Be warned.  Should this book be on your "to be read" list?  Absolutely as long as you are an adult.  I give this book 4 stars for sure. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was very creative. I loved that the Sex Demons were sent to "Lust". There are also a lot of other different references that I liked in the book. The idea of Sex Demons was definitely a different take on fantasy. The author did a great job in creating another world, and I was so caught up in the book, that I felt like I was also in the same world as the characters. The book is definitely for adults. There are some "sex" scenes, after all the book is about Sex Demons. This is the first Fallen book, and I do not know how many more there will be. I loved the way Celeste interacted with her brothers, and at times I found myself laughing. I am not sure how I feel about Celeste's father. He is stubborn and plays a vital role in the story. The ending was a cliffhanger, and I feel as though Celeste still has a lot of problems in her future. I would rather that the second book was about a secondary character, rather than a continuation of Celeste.  Celeste's man was a demon, and he was more evil than that. As his character progressed through the book I started to feel bad for him. It turns out that Demons have feelings too. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
