Overview

He’s her good boy gone bad…

Rockstar Ryan Waters has always been the responsible one in his band, Warning Sign. The guy who kept an eye on business while chasing his musical dreams with his best friends. And his closest friend lately just happens to be their tour bus driver, Denver Casey.

Denver Casey is on the run from her past, and she’s careful to stay within her boundaries. Until Ryan becomes her partner in crime and one by one, those boundaries start to crumble. He’s the exact opposite from the guy she’s tried so desperately to leave behind.

Then Ryan turns up missing. And her terror that he’s hurt—or worse—leads to something dark and intoxicating. They both love adrenaline, except this time, the addiction is each other.

Falling for her best friend means putting everything on the line, win or lose. But if her hidden past comes back to haunt them, she might also end up risking her life.

And Ryan’s.

Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott always give good rockstars. Though this time their hot rockstar story took an edgy turn that ramped up the sexxy and added a suspenseful twist that kicked up the excitement level an extra notch or three. It doesn't take long for Warning Sign's master-of-all-instruments, Ryan Waters, and their tour bus driver, Denver Casey, to add benefits to their close friendship. It's supposed to be for only one night, but neither expected such an undeniable passion to erupt between them. One night isn't nearly enough to slake their hunger. Suddenly their time on the road between gigs becomes a lot hotter. Denver has particular needs that Ryan is a master at fulfilling. I liked that both were so secure in their wants, making no apologies nor expressing no shame. Because of that, their chemistry was explosive. The mystery was unexpected, with one revelation a total shock that made me gasp. Although I've read this duo often enough I should know by now to expect the unexpected. They're masters at intertwining storylines and creating twists that aren't predictable, which is as aggravating as it's celebrated. The foundation was laid for at least two future books. Just enough was revealed to make me wanna howl in frustration at the wait, because both have all the hallmarks of being exceptional and leaning more towards the erotic spectrum. Count. Me. In. Lost Lyric may have started as your typical rockstar story, but it quickly had my heart pounding in excitement-for a couple of reasons. ;) 4.5 stars

Book 4 in the series . Hero is Ryan . Heroine is Denver. There was a sweet pull together chemistry. Then when both characters felt what was happening they both took a step back then a few more . The chemistry was hot , hot . Both Denver and Ryan get down to business. Both these authors have a scorching writing style. They both Complete each other . As the story continues you soon learn that Denver is running from someone. How that someone finds (tracks ) her down . How ??? When the ban travels from city to city . Does Ryan step in to save the day . Grab it and see . It's worth the story

This series is such a fun rock star series! I love that this upcoming band is a band of "brothers". They always have each other's backs. This story is Ryan and Denver's story. They are best friends and things become so much more. Denver has a past that she is running from and Ryan just wants to be the person she runs to. I thought the story was a great story. I had a harder time falling in love with Denver's character. I loved Ryan and his relentless pursuit of Denver even when she continued to push him away. The middle of the story got a little long as she continued to push Ryan away. I did warm up to Denver, but it took me a little longer. I love this band though and I love how we get to see the couples from before in every book. I'm excited to read the next story!

I loved Ryan and Denver! Denver is the bus driver for Ryan's band, Warning Sign. Ryan has become her best friend. She is running from her past and Ryan is her safe spot. Feelings start to develop on both sides, but Denver is afraid Ryan has a problem with gambling. Will her past catch up to her? Can Ryan and Denver escape her past? 5 stars

After 15 books in the related rock and roll romance series from these authors, I've wondered when things might get too familiar, but they've kept my interest throughout and Lost Lyric really distinguished itself. There are so many things I loved about it. The writing seems effortless and it flowed just right for me. Just like a good sports romance needs to have actual sports scenes for me to feel like I'm in that world, a rock romance needs rock music to go with it. Lost Lyric just really wowed me with this, from the banter on the bus to the excitement of the performance. And the icing on this musical cake were the many mentions of musicians and music that were some of my personal favorites from the 70's, 80's and 90's. So let's get to the romance. Ryan has some extra curricular activities that have his best friend and bus driver, the gorgeous Denver Casey, a bit concerned and when she has to rescue him from an alley one night. In the process, they both decide to take their friendship to a new level. After a few starts and stops, they finally decide to give a relationship a try. Ryan knows just what Denver needs in the bedroom, and they are scorching hot together. But Denver has a past that she doesn't share with Ryan until it's almost too late. This brings a nice bit of suspense to the story and also brings in one of the characters I'm dying to know more about. Well, make that two characters I want to know more about, because if we don't get a book about Mal soon, I'm gonna cry. I loved everything about Lost Lyric -- the main and secondary characters, the story, the heat level, and most of all for the love of music that just poured out through this book. My favorite in this series (so far).

Ryan Waters is the level headed member of Warning Sign. He can play pretty much anything instrument put in front of him. At least until recently. Now he has his best friend, and tour bus driver, Denver Casey, worried about where he is and what he's been up to. She's so worried she puts a tracker app on his phone so she knows where he is at all times. It leads her to discover things about him she's not quite sure she's ready to deal with, all while dealing with some secrets of her own. Tracking him down one night leads them to take their friendship past just being friends. This book had so many twists and turns and completely unexpected connections. I am not going to spoil any of it, but I will say you definitely need to read this!

You will absolutely love Ryan and Denver. This book has it all….Rockstars, romance, passion, steamy bedroom scenes and a bit of suspense as the past comes back to drag Denver back. You will find yourself anticipating what the next page will bring and won’t want to put it down. Such a great couple that you will find yourself pulling for them to make it through together. This book is in a series of books revolving around the band Warning Sign. Each band member gets their own story. So you can read them alone –but you won’t want to. Each character is unique and deals with his or hers own personal struggles. Sounds a little like each of us doesn’t it? Yes, there is a realty and truth to the stories these two authors create for us. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. You’ll become fans of the Rockstars and the women who write about them!

Another hit in a great series My favorite trope is friends before lover and Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot with this edition of found in oblivion was one of the best. Ryan and Denver are great together. Having them lean on each other and their friendship is great. Can they help each other through their pasts and issues. These two together is great one of my favorite couples in this series. I also love the fact in this series you get to see all of the people in the band and here from the significant others. You get to keep up with the whole lot of them. Can't wait for the rest of the band to pair up and more books by this pair of wonderful authors.

Taryn and Cari may not be human. No one can write this many books that are all spectacular and different. Warning Sign, the band, may be a common theme in this theory, but each character has their own 'soul' and what should have been an easy 'best friends into lovers' story is so much more. Ryan, the steady band member who can do anything musical so doesn't shine like a diva, and Denver, the stable, no-nonsense bus driver become one of the hottest couples I know. You understand how they can be best friends especially when surrounded by the chaos of a rock band that's already filled with bigger than life personalities and dreams, but to become epic worthy lovers with a hot factor off the scale.....wow. Then as if the love story wasn't enough, Denver has some baggage that I didn't see coming making the book another layer of awesome. The book is a stand alone within the series so if you're new to the series, you can follow along, but reading the other books will give you more backstory and character depth. I was given an ARC for an honest review. I honestly can say I LOVE this book and that's why I bought a copy. The only regret I have is that it ended

Lost Lyric is the 4th book in the Found in Oblivion Series. It can be read and absolutely enjoyed as a standalone but I think for a richer reading experience, it's best to read the books in the series in order. This is a terrific friends to lovers story of Ryan and Denver. They are best friends who play an integral part in the band "Warning Signs" and they always have each other's backs. This is the story of how their friendship developed into more. As with all Cari Quinn books, the characters are well developed, the sex is smoking hot and the story flows nicely. I was able to read this in one sitting and I am so looking forward to the next installment into this series. A side note: I typically don't listen to music when I read, I'm an 80's hair band girl and don't know much "new" music (I'm ashamed to admit this). There is a reference in this story about a song sung by "Theory of a Deadman". I ended up YouTubing the song and kept auto play on for the rest of the book. I will forever be grateful for Cari Quinn turning me on to music I've been missing out on.

Wow Ryan & Denver! Hot, Hot, Hot! from keeping tabs on her best friend because she is worried about him to the great end, it was one ride I could hardly put down to get to work a couple of days on time! Cari Quinn again delivers a story that gets you so involved you feel like your are riding right beside the characters. I love the way these stories develop to draw you in. I know this series is probably going to end sooner or later. I just hope it is later, like much later, with lots of out takes so I can come back and visit Ryan & Denver and the rest of Warning Sign. Cari handles each of these characters and their stories as if their lives depended on it. They are rich in body, well developed like they are real people with all their quirks and faults that she is writing about. They become all your best buds and you want what is best for them as well as wanting to find out whether the others get their happily ever after. Even though this book is a stand alone, once you have read this book if you haven't read the others you are seriously going to want to. This book has everything angst, sweetness, crankiness, fear, & love; and that just happens in the first 3 chapters! I am not one to want to spoil the ending for anyone so I won't but let me say that the chemistry between Ryan & Denver is something not to be missed, she wants the best for him when she finds him beat up in the alley, when she finds out he has been gambling on poker games and counting cards she gets real mad and upset but not for the reason that Ryan thinks she is. She has valid reasons that if she was just honest and told him about he would see things through a different filter. I will leave it at that. Read this book and see that it is definitely worth waiting for the conclusion!

The writing duo of Quinn and Elliott has done it again by bring us Warning Signs’ music extraordinaire Ryan and their tour bus driver, Denver. Ryan and Denver have formed a friendship some can only dream of and this is why Denver does what any good friend would do when you haven’t shown up back at the bus, she goes looking for you. Denver finds her best friend in a bad part of town in an alley way next to a dumpster terribly beaten up. She doesn’t buy his story of being mugged but then again who is she to talk when she has her own secrets that she keeps. This is when Ryan thinks that there could be much more to their friendship than either of them had thought…but is their special friendship worth ruining to see if what they have could be so much more? Let’s answer that with a hell yes!! Ryan and Denver are smoking up the pages with a chemistry that leaves you needing a cold shower. Is this chemistry enough to get them past the secrets that they have? This book is everything and more that you can want in a rock romance. Now I have to anxiously wait for the next book to come out just to see where Quinn and Elliott are going to take us with the next member of Warning Signs. If it’s anything like this it sure is going to be a steamy and exciting read. I received this book as an ARC for a freely given and honest review.

You know, I can't believe they keep creating these Fabulous stories. Yeah we've all read a series or two, but seriously, Cari and Taryn have once again started me on a journey that I will be so very sad to see end. What a wonderful story. Talk about touching on so many topics, secrets, addiction, fear, fun, friends and love. Denver and Ryan just click so hard. So many emotions but this time it's the guy who is making sure he's giving her space and crowding her too! Ryan is just yum. He's found someone he wants and is making sure Denver knows it. He's very perceptive and lets her have her space when she needs it, but then there are times when he realizes he needs to make sure she knows he is there for her! Denver is such a cool chick. She drives a bus...for rockstars. Can't believe she is as laid back and cool as she is. My favourite was the girl bonding at the end. Love me some HEA but it's nice to know your girls have your back.

A solid four stars for the fourth installment in the Found in Oblivion series. (You don't necessarily have to read the previous three to enjoy this book but you really should to get a better idea of the relationships within the group.) The story opens with Denver, the bands driver, frantically looking for missing all-purpose musician for Warning Sign and her best friend, Ryan Waters. Later that night they find themselves together in a hot and seedy motel and their relationship will never be the same. While Ryan is ready to take this relationship into the stratosphere, Denver sees too many obstacles in her past and his current behavior to even begin imagining a future. Denver holds her secrets close but her tough-girl front is no match when Ryan is near. His smell, his touch, his breath on her neck, his words in her ear and she's a goner. Still, she holds him at arms length when they are not wrapped around each other. The push and pull of their incendiary relationship coupled with the languid pace of how the story of Denver's past slowly unfolds keeps you turning the pages. And, as with the previous books in this series, if you are looking for lots of hot, pushing the boundaries of vanilla, sexy scenes, you have found your book. I would like to have had a little more of an in depth read about the backstory and Denver's relationship with Marco. Still, it as as good a read as you would expect from Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I loved this book! This is the 4th installment of the Found in Oblivion series. It can be read as a standalone but the other books are just as good as this one is! This one is about Ryan Waters and Denver Casey. Ryan is the all around musician in the band. He can play anything he puts his hands on but tends to be a bit scattered. He has always seemed to be the sweet member of the band. But he has some things going on that he won't tell anyone. Denver is the band's tour bus driver and a friend. She is snarky, which I love in a heroine! But you never really know about her background as she is very closemouthed. This book had some unexpected twists that I really didn't see coming. Ryan and Denver start off as best friend's and I love how even after they get together-they are still friend's!! That is the best types of relationships in my opinion! There are very HOT scenes and you will love the twists this book takes. It definitely had some elements of romantic suspense, which I was not expecting but really liked. All in all, a great read! After reading the teaser for Molly's book at the end I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

Once I started reading the story definitely kept me turning the pages until the end. This book is longer then the others in this series but that just made it better. Ryan and Denver are best friends. Ryan is a band member of Warning Signs and Denver is the bus driver for Warning Signs. Ryan has a few problems and lately he seems kinda lost and restless. Denver well she has a couple of big secrets. When these two decide to push things a little past friendship it turns hot, steamy and naughty. The way this story is written you can just feel the respect and love Ryan has for Denver. In this book we get not only the romance but also some suspenseful moments when Denver's secrets get revealed. There are appearances from some of the characters in other books that get involved in this story. This is an absolute must read.
