The second novel in the emotionally compelling trilogy, Degrees of Separation—three lost souls determined to find balance again…
December has vanished. Rejected by her troubled husband, Austin, and pushed, at his insistence, into the arms of his best friend, Cord, she’s uncertain what the future holds. She loves her husband, regardless of his addiction, but she also loves his best friend. At odds with everything she believed to be her traditional reality, she flees the only home she’s ever known.
Heartbroken, Cord does the right thing and confronts his reluctant betrayal of Austin after losing the woman they both love. He takes charge, dragging Austin back from the edge of oblivion, only to find himself plunged deeper into a life of heartache.
On a path to redemption, Austin must not only confront personal truths, but consider the sacrifices necessary to save his marriage and his friendship with Cord.
An unexpected reunion and exposed secrets will either derail or establish their future as one.

This is a trilogy and needs to be read in order , so make sure to pick up book one first. After reading book one and feeling the unwavering love ember had for her husband Austin and how his depression and alcoholism was braking them both into a million little pieces . She still wouldn't leave him, even after he asked There best friend Cord to take care of her ... no limitations , while he was off to recover. That is why, I wasn't expecting it the beginning of Lost Together that Em would leave both men , and go into seclusion, after wanting to keep her marriage together, leaving both men to bond again. Did I expect her to go back to her husband ? Would she leave him for Cord , like Austin Wanted? I had a lot of emotions running through my head with this second book .frustration , surprise , anger, relief and an OMG sigh of Finally the Truth. But that's the kind of feelings that hook you to the characters in a story and make you fall in love hard with everything about a book. I'm happy that Austin got his sobriety back and is finally starting to take control of his own life , but I can't help but feel bad for poor Cord . By getting himself mixed up in there marriage, he was set up to loose ...a friendship and the love of his life ...all over again. I am not sure how far Austin and Ember's revised relationship will go , if Cord will let it continue, but as soon as all three of them let there guards down, it felt like they all cared deeply for each other since childhood and Austin and Ember's marriage set everyone into a downward spiral. I want so bad to find out what happened next for these characters in the third book. Can Austin, Em and Cord make this relationship work or will it break them to the point of madness??
This is the second book in the Degrees of Separation Trilogy and I do recommend reading them in order. I really liked this read and am so looking forward to finding out what happens next. December has taken off leaving both Cord and Austin. Cord goes to see Austin and help him get sober again. When December returns, what will become of these three. Lots of emotion, drama and very steamy.
