Louder Now is no doubt an unforgettable album. The problem with the CD lies in the title. Some of the potential grandeur and details get lost in the noise. Thankfully that's not always the case, as on "MakeDamnSure", "Miami", and "Divine Intervention". Overall a very listenable album, with a few moments of obvious genuine inspiration.

I have not gotten the CD yet, but I am getting it tomorrow and I am SO exited because Tbs is a great band. The entire month of April I had the song "Makedamsure" stuck in my head. I can't wait!!! I just hope my 4 turns into a 5 when I get it.

TBS does not dissapoint here. This album is very strong from front to back. Tracks such as "Miami" "Liar" and "My Blue Heaven" that showcase Adam Lazarra's yowling vocals, and maturing lyrics highlight this album. Taking Back Sunday has come a long way since Tell All Your Friends"a personal favorite" and they have definately started to shed their emo tag, while still maintaining the style that has made them front-runners in the Alt-Indie Scene for years

Louder Now was a huge letdown to all the longtime fans of Taking Back Sunday. This new Taking Back Sunday lacks everything it once had. Gone are the superior lyrics, unique sound, and powerful emotion. It is hard to believe that this same band once produced songs like Cute Without the 'E and There's No I In Team where the sound of the band's anger was tangible or anthing like Great Romances of the 20th Century where you too, could feel the sadness and self-mockery. Where You Want to Be suffered from the sudden loss of two band members, namely John Nolan but it still echoed the old power of the band with a promise of its possible return. We weren't that lucky. Louder Now is a boringly pop-like album, containing anticlimatic and irksome sound, (Especially in Divine Intervention, which contains an especially annoying clicking noise in the background and irritating howls of MI-AM-I in the song of the same name), with the same, meaninglessly standard lyrics of every add-water "emo" band. In a butchered version of Error: Operator, they say "We can't go back". I certainly hope they can.

This album was a step-up for a band already at the front of a very large pack. Riding high on the emo wave that continues to show surprising strength despite a burgeoning and flooded market, Taking Back Sunday delivers what their fans have come to expect: gut-check lyrics, great vocals, and incredible music. The sound has matured with the band, and I have never been happier to be a TBS fan, especially in light of all their troubles with their ex-record label, it's great that they can make such a good record. It takes a few spins to adjust, but these songs sink in like the hieghts of Tell All Your Friends and Where You Want To Be. Check out these tracks, they will knock your argyle socks off: Liar, MakeDamnSure, My Blue Heaven, Miami, Twenty-Twenty Surgery, and I'll Let You Live. Is it as good as their first two albums? Absolutely. My only gripe is that it wasn't released in DualDisc. But this is a great album that leaves you satisfied and wanting more. Get it get it Get IT!!!

A great cd. They have a great, fresh sound. Not like alot of what you hear on the radio, they have originality and are definately worth trying out.

I'm a fan of the old TBS stuff but even though Louder Now was different it was definitely a well put together album and you can just see how hard TBS worked on it.

The wait is almost finaly over. I waited sooo long for this album just like everyone else. I hope this album is just as good as Tell All Your Friends and Where You Want To Be. What I do know is that two songs on that cd are awesome! I really hope that I love this cd just like the others. I HEART TAKING BACK SUNDAY!!! I also HEART PETE WENTZ!!!!JUST 38 MORE DAYS!!!
