About the Author

NY Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Lexi Blake lives in North Texas with her husband, three kids, and the laziest rescue dog in the world. She began writing at a young age, concentrating on plays and journalism. It wasn't until she started writing romance and urban fantasy that she found the stories of her heart. She likes to find humor in the strangest places and believes in happy endings no matter how odd the couple, threesome, or foursome may seem.

Her first novel, Their Virgin Captive, was a collaboration with New York Times bestselling author Shayla Black. There are six more books available in the Masters of Ménage series: Their Virgin's Secret, Their Virgin Concubine, Their Virgin Princess, Their Virgin Hostage, and Their Virgin Secretary, and Their Virgin Mistress.

In addition to the Masters of Ménage series, she is the author of the Masters and Mercenaries series. The first twelve novels, The Dom Who Loved Me, The Men with the Golden Cuffs, A Dom is Forever, On Her Master's Secret Service, Love and Let Die, Dungeon Royale, A View to a Thrill, You Only Love Twice, Master No, From Sanctum with Love, Dominance Never Dies, Submission is Not Enough, and For His Eyes Only are available now, along with the novellas Sanctum, Unconditional, Dungeon Games, Cherished, Luscious, Adored, Just One Taste, Devoted, Perfectly Paired, and Arranged. Love Another Day, the fourteenth novel in the Masters and Mercenaries series, will be released on August 22nd, 2017.

In 2013, Lexi also began releasing her urban fantasy series, Thieves. The first five books, Steal the Light, Steal the Day, Steal the Moon, Steal the Sun, and Steal the Night are available now. Ripper, and Addict, the first two novels in the follow-up series, Hunter: A Thieves Series are also available now.

I do not read books to be depressed. I have read this series from the beginning. Was looking forward to reading this book since Avery and Liams' story. What happened. This author is usually very upbeat in a humorous and sarcastic way. But this book was way too depressing. I could have done without the psychiatric navel gazing. At least if she was going to visit a shrink, wouldn't Eve have been better. And let's get over the Fifty Shades of Grey nonsense. It's really starting to bug me. I'm tired if woman wanting to be spanked and dominated. Let's face it. Women don't really want that. We just want to be loved and made to feel like we matter. Not border line abused ( let's face it,ladies, abused ). So come on all you romance authors enough is enough. This is getting old. Because if you really boil it down, Fifty Shades was just a regular old romance novel with bdsm thrown in. A good romance novel. And that's what makes this all so sad. All these authors trying to capitalize on this theme are good writers. You don't need this bdsm theme any more. I really like this author. Unfortunately she won't stop writing this way until it becomes non profitable to write this way. To all romance authors out there bdsm is a dead horse. At least if you're going to put it in your books, do it an intelligent and subtle way.

I just love the Masters and Mercenaries, or also known as the MaKay/Taggert series. I love the bond-esq feel and titles to the stories. They're hot, funny, suspenseful, sometimes even sad and tragic, but they eventually get there man or woman and live HEA. Love them all! Happy Reading:)

Well once I started this book I could not put it down. It's now 5am and I can't wait for the next book in this series. The struggle they both had to face to get their happy ending was worth it all in the end.

Holy crow this book is HOT, y'all! Lexi Blake's Masters and Mercenaries series is one of the most exciting, steamy, and romantic series I've ever read and the latest installment, Love Another Day,  does not disappoint. Our hero, Brody, is a loveable brute who doesn't think himself worthy of our heroine, Stephanie. Stephanie is battling self worth issues as well so when these two come together it's like two pieces of a broken puzzle fitting together and making each other whole again. Of course, this wouldn't be a Masters & Mercenaries book without LOTS of adrenaline pumping drama. Our favorite McKay-Taggart heroes have their work cut out for them in this story and there's plenty of sitting-on-the-edge-of-your-seat suspense that will keep you enrapt til the very end. And did I mention this book is HOT? LoL These books contain a BDSM theme that I like to call " BDSM Light". It's not so dark that I start to feel uncomfortable reading but it's just dark enough to pique my reading interest. (If that makes any sense. I hope it does. But probably not. I'm tired. hahaha) I give Love Another Day 4 out of 5 Krissy's Stars! There's a reason the Masters & Mercenaries series is an automatic one-click for me that reason is because these stories are always super exciting, hella suspenseful, and wicked HOT! ;) Xo-K *I was generously given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was beautifully written in such a way that you can't help but to fall in love with Brody's humility and Steph's devotion. This has quickly become one of my fav books in the M&M world.

This was another phenomenal book by Lexi Blake. It drew me in from the beginning, and had me wondering how everything was going to play out. Never did I expect the ride Lexi took me on. Brody and Steph were perfect for each other. They were both strong and kick butt. I loved Steph's feistiness, but my heart broke as she battled demons from her past. We get to catch up with the Taggart McKay couples here, and it was so fun to see there interactions (and of course, always beyond entertaining and had me LOLing nonstop) There is one "puppy" I would love see find true love eventually, and I know if he gets a story it's going to be epic! For now, I will wait anxiously for the next book in this series! A fantastic must read!!!

3.5 stars-- LOVE ANOTHER DAY is the fourteenth installment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult MASTERS AND MERCENARIES erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women who work for the McKay-Taggart and Knight Security Agency. This is former SASR (Special Air Service Regiment –Australia) soldier and security specialist Brody Carter, and Dr. Stephanie Gibson’s story line. LOVE ANOTHER DAY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from previous story lines is revealed where necessary although there are references to ongoing scenarios from previous investigations and the continuing fall out from a mission that saw the rescue of too many men whose minds and memories were wiped clean of their pasts. NOTE: LOVE ANOTHER DAY contains sexually, graphic scenes of Domination and submission. Told from dual third person perspectives (Stephanie and Brody) LOVE ANOTHER DAY follows the building but acrimonious relationship between former SASR soldier and security specialist Brody Carter, and Dr. Stephanie Gibson. Approximately one year earlier Brody was assigned security detail to Stephanie Gibson and her crew who worked and operated out of a medical clinic near Freetown Sierra Leone, South Africa. Stephanie’s attraction to Brody is immediate and palpable but our hero is reluctant to start anything knowing there time together is limited and coming to an end. One night together finds Brody walking away from the woman he will never forget. Fast forward to present day and Brody will come charging back into Stephanie’s life when our heroine is targeted for something she knows nothing about. What ensues is the rekindling relationship between Stephanie and Brody, no promises for the future, and Stephanie’s dogged determination to make reparations for sins of the past-reparations that place Stephanie in the direct line of fire on more than one occasion. Dr. Stephanie Gibson suffers with survivor’s guilt; PTSD that pushes our heroine to risk her life without consideration of others or the people she leaves behind. A past shrouded in tragedy, Stephanie’s ongoing guilt and need to risk her life, placing herself in danger gets old, very fast. Our heroine tries to sacrifice herself (on multiple occasions) for the sake of others but a sacrifice that would destroy the man that she has grown to love. Brody Carter doesn’t do relationships; his line of work as a security specialist places him in dangerous situations and a relationship would only add further complications to a lifestyle rarely conducive to family and love but Stephanie Gibson keeps secret a very important part of her life-one that places Brody front and center, for now and into the future. LOVE ANOTHER DAY struggles with the ongoing self-sacrificing actions of our story line heroine. Stephanie’s need to ‘martyr’ herself for sins of the past was anything but heartbreaking as I endeavored to accept her actions as anything but a cry for attention. For me, the heroine’s continuous need to place herself in danger, risking not only her life but the life of those who had to constantly step in to search and rescue, made for too many anxious moments-moments I felt were unnecessary and over the top. In short, I had a difficult time sympathizing with Stephanie Gibson; her attitude and relentless efforts to get herself killed was disconcerting and disappointing. The premise was engaging but at times distressing; the characters were colorful and dynamic but th

4 stars for - Love Another Day - the fourteenth book in the ever evolving Masters and Mercenaries series by Lexi Blake. This book can be read as a complete stand alone but the series on a whole is top notch and really should be read by all. Stephanie Gibson has spent years punishing herself for a mistake that happened when she was just a kid. She is now a talented doctor that goes to war torn countries donating her time/skills trying to help the less fortunate. No matter how many times she puts herself in danger or works to the point of exhaustion in will never be enough to make up for what she did. After the entire nightmare with Dr. McDonald finally came crashing down Stephanie wanted one night for herself with the man of her dreams before he disappeared forever. Brody Carter now works in the London office of McKay - Taggart, but he spent six months in Sierra Leone as a body guard for Dr. Gibson. Deciding he would never be good enough for a woman like Steph, he only spends one memorable night with her and leaves the country early the next morning. What Brody doesn't realize is that one night of passion created a bond between them that would never diminish. This story brought us "back to basics" with all the things that made me fall in love with the MM series to begin with - club scenes and non-stop action that had you on the edge of your seat. Then you add in the outstanding supporting characters that Ms. Blake writes and it is a series that I hope never ends.
