New Adult Romance *** received free from author This is a very funny and emotional book. I loved Maddie although, sometimes I felt like shaking her. It was a quick, easy and enjoyable read. My only problem with the book was that we didn't get an in depth look into Jamie and Maddie's relationship.

Realistic characters experiencing real everyday problems gives this story its foundation. It allows the reader behind the scenes not only in the producer world, but in the lives and families of the characters and how they juggle their busy lives and their loved ones. Add the sarcastic humor, the snarky comments, and the raw animal attraction and you can’t go wrong! Mari Mancusi has given the reader a glimpse of what her life must be like being a producer, writer, wife, and mother. The raw emotions, the dreams, hopes, and loves of the characters really pull the reader into the story. The conflicts, the love triangles, the danger and intrigue, add layers of depth to the plot. This story takes the reader on a journey with Maddy. Her strength and determination and her unwavering persistence in achieving her dreams are some of the traits that Maddy exhibits that make her such a likeable and realistic character.
