About the Author

Bethany Claire is the USA TODAY Bestselling Author of the Scottish Time Travel Romance novels in Morna's Legacy Series. They include Love Beyond Time, Love Beyond Reason, A Conall Christmas (A Novella), and Love Beyond Hope, Love Beyond Measure, and other titles.

Bethany's love of storytelling has been a life-long passion. Even in her toddler years, she would sit down with anybody that would listen as she theatrically re-told the latest fairytale that had been read to her.

As she grew, she created stories of her own, but convinced it would serve her best to follow a "conventional" career path, she tucked them away and went off to college.

Fast forward four years and about six major changes later, she realized the stories simply were not going to stay tucked away. Months away from graduating with a degree in Elementary Education, and growing more miserable with every day that brought her closer to a career she truly didn't want, she finally realized writing was the only career that would make her happy.

So, one day in the middle of a summer education course, she got up in the middle of class and walked to the Registrar's office and withdrew from the university on the spot. Since then, she has devoted herself to writing full-time and is following her dreams.

Orwick's alive!!! Yay!!!!! This definitely kept me on my toes! When Orwick had amnesia, I was devastated! I thought for sure he would never cross paths with his loved ones but I'm so glad everything worked out the way it did! He's definitely my favorite character, such a big sweet gentle giant! SR

Recommendation: A definite yes after book 5’s sadness. This is book 6 in the series so make sure to read the first 5+ ones before starting this one. Gillian has claimed ownership of Cagair castle (in the present) after Jane’s mysterious disappearance and has set about renovating the castle to its full glory. Until her world is turned upside down by a group of strangers renting the castle for a few days for an obscene amount of money. Her guests seem odd and when she finds a dirty ragged man wandering the mist, she doesn’t think life can get any weirder. But then she learns to time travel. Orick disappeared over a cliff to plunge into the sea and to his death, the trouble is… he doesn’t know who he is or where he’s from. What he does know is Gillian is the fairest woman he’s ever seen and wants to get to know her better. After the sadness that soaked the pages of book 5, this story was one of hope and finding your way out of self-imposed darkness. Gillian is a strong character with a good moral compass and a deep internal flaw she must overcome in order to survive and thrive. Their romance was one of sweet moments and respecting personal boundaries that was wholesome to read. Audiobook Review: Lily Collingwood is, as always, enjoyable to hear. The book was 6 hours as usual, the recording quality was excellent with no hum or distortion and made the entire focus on the story.

Every night since moving to Cagair Castle to oversee its renovation, Gillian's dreams have been filled with a gorgeous Scottish knight, fresh off the cover of some steamy novel. So consumed are her nights by this stranger that Gilliam even finds herself painting his portrait by day in a vain attempt to exorcise him from her subconscious mind. She is both intrigued and well and truly alarmed, however, when a little boy travelling with a mysterious party of guests staying at the castle recognizes her dream man--as a dearly departed friend. Meanwhile, in 17th century Scotland, a man wakes in a cavern to a lass tending his injuries after a nearly fatal fall off a cliff. Unfortunately, he has no memory of anything prior to his accident. After healing in body at least, it becomes time for him to strike out on his own to try to recover the lost threads of his life. Who is the mystery man in the painting? Could he be related to the injured. man in the cave? As these two seemingly unrelated stories come together, yet another member of the Morna's Legacy set finds love. This installment, while still an enjoyable, quick-read I devoured in all of 1 sitting, wasn't as suspenseful as some of the earlier books in the series. That said, I wasn't at all disappointed, and still plan to purchase the next book.

This is my favorite, so far, of Morna's Legacy. Gillian is one luck lady to have Orick. Many surprises await you with this story! Cullum's story is already pre-ordered! Can't wait!
