This is a well-crafted short story about a single woman who just broke up with her boyfriend before St. Valentine's Day (a day she dreaded because she expects to spend it alone). She has feelings for someone else, but is he ready to love again? Short stories like this make a nice break in between bigger books. I was glad I read it!

Love Heals by Lorraine Bartlett Being single on Valentine’s Day can be very lonely. This is exactly how Diana felt. She just recently broken up with her boyfriend because she didn’t feel they wanted the same thing from a relationship. Diana, a nurse, had witnessed what true love between two people really looked like. This is the type of love she longed for and she knew the person she wanted to share it with. But did he see her the same way? This is a very sweet short story about loneliness, friendship, loss, and love. It is a quick read, I read it in one sitting, but it is still a well developed story. I could certainly relate to Diana have spent a few Valentine’s Days alone in my life. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quick read, people who enjoy love stories, and anyone that has felt lonely and dealt with the loss of a partner.

This story was way too short and no rapport is developed between the characters that truly shows how they come together. BAD!!!!

This was a warm and tender story of how a simple friendship between two people grew to something more, one of understanding and love.
