Love Hina, Volume 14 by Ken Akamatsu

When Keitaro Urashima fails his entrance exams to get into Tokyo University for the second time, he's officially an unemployed and uneducated slacker. To make things worse, his parents have kicked him out of his house. Fortunately, his grandmother owns the fabulous Hinata Lodge and has agreed to take Keitaro in as caretaker. What he doesn't know is that the lodge is actually a girl's dorm and he's the only guy around! Most guys would kill to live with five sexy ladies, but if Keitaro's not careful, this job will kill him.

It's sad to see it end, but there's obviously more to it than that. Akamatsu-sensei leaves a lot to the imagination: only Naru, Keitaro, Seta and Haruka are paired up at the end. Shinobu, Kitsune, Motoko, Mutsumi, Sarah, Shirai and Haitani, on the other hand, are left completely to the imagination. In the end, Shirai and Haitani have new hairstyles but are still the same guys. I have to say that the pair are my favorite characters in the series and that they are kind of under appreaciated. Sarah grows up, which is definitely interesting to see, Shinobu grows up as well, and even shares a bath scene with Ema (a new character) that is similar to Naru's with Keitaro in volume one. Kitsune has become Haruka, her hair and clothes mimicking those of Seta's wife. Seta is replaced by Keitaro, who now dresses exactly like him (and has been doing so since volume twelve), but now he acts like him too, getting late for his own wedding. Mutsumi's the same, and Su will never change, and Naru has become an asian beauty never seen before in LH. It's interesting to see the people they grow up into. But, being the finale, it's rather sad to see Love Hina has come to its end. I won't say that it's not appropriate for children, but it really should be read by someone thirteen and up. I myself styled my drawing after Ken Akamatsu's, and had it not been for the panty shots, nude scenes and feeling up sessions I would call it a five-star read.

Love Hina was and is one of the best mangas out there in this big world.A perfectly rendered and explained manga, it is still my fave after reading it over (the whole series) about 6 times! Ken Akamatsu is the greatest manga artist ever! Love Hina has helped me improve my artwork and has amazed me with its perfectness. It will remain a top manga as long as manga exists!

This has to be the greatest series I have ever read in my life. This is a full series review of Love Hina. This series has eveything, action, romance, comedy, and, everyone's favorite, oodle and oodles of sexual tension. The plot goes as so a twenty year old ronin (college entrance exam failure), Keitaro Urashima has been strivng for Tokyo U for years and years and has failed the entrance exam twice. This all goes back to 15 years prior when he made a promise to a girl he really loved. He is kicked out of his house and has to go to live in his grandma HIna's hotel at Hinata hot springs. He puts his stuff away and goes to take a hot springs bath when a naked girl walks in. She and other girls chase him around and as i turns out it is not a hotel but a girl's dorm. Ther are seven girls there who all seem to have a unique situation with him. Naru the main girl in the story, she punches him alot, and as the cover might imply she and Keitaro wed. Kitsune, the lovable drunk, nympho, always looking for a party. Shinobu, the loveable cute J highschool student who has a certain afinity for cooking and Keitaro. Motoko, the emaculine kendo girl who slowly finds her feminin side throughout the books. Su, the crazy adventureer who's body is strange and a mystery to anyone. Kanako, Keitaro's crazy step sister who is obsesed with Keitaro( she is not a main character only quasi-main). Finnally, Mutsume the ditsy but lovable Tokyo U hopefull who is friggin' genious!!!!!!!!!! but failed three times!!!!!!!!!!!! This has to be the greatest manga I have ever read, it blow evangelion, Chobits, Dragonball, Hellsing, and any other manga even, dare I say Rurouni Kenshin way out of the water. Read it or be hunted down by a pack of ravenous squirlles who will eat your brain.

This is by far my favorite installment of the series, if you enjoyed the rest of the Love Hina books, don't skip the oppurtunity to pick this up. Altough I was a little unsatisfied by the ending, I'm giving 5 stars.

I would recomend the Love Hina series to anyone, To me its a more modern style Maison Ikkoku. I myself consider MI to be a better story but LH is not one to be missed either.

ITS OVER!?!!? NOOOOoOooOOO....anyways...This manga is excellent...The only thing it lacks is Naru's lil sister(that appears in the anime show) and some weird brown hair guy popping up out of no where to take up time. Yeh...And you see a lot of more nose bleeding in the anime. HAPPY READINGS

this is probably one of the best manga's ive read (even though it has TONS of fanservice, which some if it is disturbing but funny) and i bought every single one when they came out, i loved the characters development and how it kinda makes you think whos keitaro's childhood girl...but im not telling you! you have to read it yourself...^^
