In a bonus Montgomery Ink novella, it seems that falling for your best friend isn’t as easy as fiction says and friends of the Montgomerys might finally find their happy ever after.

Wedding planner Arianna King had everything planned out down to the last detail until her father’s ultimatum changed everything. Now she’s alone, trying to open her own business, and seemingly failing at every corner. Just when things start to look even bleaker, she’ll find out just how much she can rely on her best friend—and herself.

Being in love with your best friend isn’t always easy as Harper Rosso knows. He’s been by her side since the beginning, but now that she finally has time to breath, he might just be able to show her what he could be for her. Only he’ll have to make sure he’s ready to take that chance and perhaps lose her forever.

Sparks fly between the two of them once they finally take their relationship to the next level. Only the burning temptation than fills them might not be enough in the face of what they left behind and what threatens their future.

Love, Honor, and Ink was originally found in the Once Upon a Valentine Anthology.

This was a good story but only 87 pages long and the actual story only 69 pages long. It should have only been 99 cents because of the length. A good addition to the Montgomery Ink novels.

This was a short story but still packed with the good vibes found in all the Inked books. This is about Arianna and Harper. The tie in to the Montgomery family is through Harper who works as a contractor for the Montgomery Inc. side. Arianna works for her father’s wedding planning company in the beginning of the story and her father is getting ready to retire. She expects to take over the company when he retires and is meeting with him in his office. She realizes Justin (who is actually Harper’s brother) is in her father’s office when her father tells her he is either going to sell the company to his biggest competitor or she can take over if she marries Justin. She is outraged, horrified, and disbelieving that her father would actually do something like this. Justin is a slimy little weasel who worms his way in through lies and scheming. She despises hi and would never consider him for anything having to do with her. So she quits, packs up her stuff and walks out. The story gets pretty intense from this point. I couldn’t put it down.

I'm slowly falling more and more in love with this series, and I'll soon have to go back and read all of the books in it. Even though I'm a newbie in this world, I was pretty sure that this story isn't like any of the others, or at least the ones that I read. Not only because neither of the main characters are Montgomerys by blood, but also because of the entire feel of this book. It felt like a behind-the-scenes story, which I liked. I liked Arianna. I've never given much thought to wedding planning as a career, because I never truly understood what it actually means to plan such an important event for someone else, so I really enjoyed learning more about it through Ari's voice. I also loved how in love with her job she was. I'll be honest, I love reading about people who genuinely love their jobs, who adore what they do for a living, even if sometimes they do stuff they don't enjoy all that much. Another thing I liked about her is the fact that she was dedicated to her job enough to not let personal relationships get in the way of things. With her father and with a woman she never thought she'd work with, Ari didn't allow what she felt cloud her judgement or let herself do a less-than-perfect job, which shows how truly professional she is, and I respect her for that. Harper is the kind of hero I don't usually like 100%. He's a sexy, funny, charming guy, and he's a really good friend, but sometimes he's too good of a friend, if that makes sense. I know he always tried to help Ari, and he didn't mean it to get out of hand, but sometimes that is something that bothers me just a tiny little bit. All that aside, I did like the fact that he gave Ari the courage and self-confidence she needed in a truly low point in her life, and I like that he knew just what she needed in order to get her butt in gear. The plot was great, and I read this book pretty easily. Because this was a short story, I feel like a few details weren't fully explored, or explained, and I'm just hoping they'll be at least mentioned in future books, but apart from that, I did enjoy this story. And, as I said, I plan on bingeing this series pretty soon.

I really love the Montgomery Ink series, but it was great to see a side character get his own story! We just recently met Harper and I'm so in love with him after this! I love that him and Adrianna have the connection that they do and that they've known each other for so long. This was such a great quick, pick up me up love story

This story also appeared in Once Upon a Valentine, and was a very sweet addition to the Montgomery ink family. Ari and Harper go from Friends to lovers during a time that is very stressful in Ari's life, and he helps her prove to herself that she can become who she has always wanted to be. A beautiful, quick read that has cameos of several of the main Montgomery family members.

This is a novella on the fringes of the Montgomery Inc world. The hero's, Harper, who's working under Storm and Wes Montgomery, trying to prove he's qualified to be a full-time foreman. He's been in love with his best friend, Arianna, as he can remember, but she's oblivious. Harper's loyal, strong, and Alpha, he's afraid to confess his feelings to Arianna fearing he'll lose her. Arianna's the only child of the owner of King Wedding Planners. She's put into a no-win situation so she quits and starts her own business rather than give in. Arianna's determined, single-minded, and independent. "Love, Honor, and Ink" is a short Friends to Lovers novella. The length keeps it from being as sexy as Carrie Ann Ryan's full length novels. The pace's slows only when Arianna frets over the growing seriousness of her relationship with Harper. The characters are strong and the storyline's intriguing. "Love, Honor, and Ink" is an enjoyable short read. It's not as wild and sexy as the Carrie Ann Ryan books I adore. However it works as something to tide me over until my next fix. We get to see a few Montgomerys which is always a good thing. The main characters are engaging and likable. There is one main secondary character and she's delightful. This is a nice little addition to the Montgomery Ink family and hopefully we'll see more of Harper in series. WOW! I really enjoy this story. It's awesome, this book is a part of a series that I have loved reading. If you are like me I absolutely loved reading Carrie Ann Ryan. Her characters are magnificent and this story has all romance, action and twists you could want. Arianna is a strong woman who is determined to live her own life. Harper is Arianna best friend but he is in love with her but he doesn't want her to know or see it. Of course falling in love with your best friend is never easy. What a absolutely enjoyable read this story is. Overall, this story is a real treat for the heart, eyes and soul. I have always enjoyed reading Carrie's stories and new loves and I know that whoever read her books will as well. What great work by Carrie Ann Ryan and I know her books are best sellers for they are always fantastic. Carrie Ann Ryan is such a talented author. I have read all of her books from every genre she has written and so I am a total book stalker of her book, I enjoyed all of the stories I read in this series. The characters and dialogue are fantastic. I received an ARC of Love, Honor, and Ink A Montgomery Ink and I have to say I so loved the way the story unfolded. I'm happy to say that this story has something for everyone, it's a pure delight to read and I can’t wait to get to read another one, or other books by Carrie Ann Ryan. What a fantastic romance story with scorching hot and steamy parts that will make you fall for this couple. It's so fascinating. If you haven't read her other stories it's ok because they can each be read as a standalone but I can say you will be happy to read her other books. Again I didn't want to stop reading! I received a ACR copy from Carrie and I voluntarily reviewed this book, because I love sharing my thoughts with my fellow readers!

Love, Honor and Ink was a fantastic short story told in the Montgomery Ink world. It read like a full-length book, chock full of awesome friends-to-lovers goodness. Arianna's father is absolutely the worst of the worst in the parental hall of fame. I promise you will want to murder death kill the dude in about two pages flat. He denies her the promotion she deserves in his big-time wedding planning company unless she marries a slime ball. Thank goodness she has the presence of mind to tell him to stuff it and quits. So, she starts her own company and decides to run it the way she always wanted to. Her biggest cheerleader, support system, shoulder to cry on is her BFF, neighbor and the slime ball's brother, Harper. Harper has secretly been in love with Arianna forever, but of course has never told her so. Now that she's away from her father and needs some help - so, Harper is there ready to step in and be her knight in shining armor. Harper suffers in silence. He sees Ari every day. He loves everything about her. But, he's spent years dating other women and watching her date other men because he's afraid that if he makes a move and she shoots him down, it will ruin what they have. But, all of a sudden, it seems like Ari might return his feelings. And if that's even possible, he's going to go for it. And because Harper went for it, I was totally in his corner all the way. Even when Ari tried to resist him - I was cheering for Harper. Because it was SO OBVIOUS these two were totally meant for each other. Even though the story was short, it had a great lead-in to the story, a substantial amount of sexual tension, some pretty great drama and mystery, and of course some super hot sexy times. And also some appearances from some of our favorite Montgomeries. Regardless of whether you're a die-hard Montgomery Ink fan or if you've never read a single book in this story, this novella will take you away for an hour and leave you with a smile on your face when you're done.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! Loved this book! Arianna thought that she was going to have more responsibility in her father's business. Turns out that her father could not care less for her. ( Her father is a piece of crap! ) Harper has been in love w/ Arianna for "forever" He should have said something sooner, but he was afraid. He finally decided to tell Arianna his feelings for her. Great HEA!
