From the co-writing duo of Mindy Michele comes a tale of small-town charm and backroads trouble.
Seventeen-year-old Reagan seems like the perfect small-town girl. Dubbed a saint by her older brother, Lincoln, she serves the community, makes straight A’s, attends church, spends her summers working with special needs children, and is a piano playing prodigy.
When you’re the daughter of the mayor and the police chief in a sleepy Kansas town, toeing the line is easier than the alternative.
That is, until her brother’s best friend changes the rules.
Reagan’s been subject to Ridley’s antics her entire life. Growing up, he tormented and teased her, but he kept his distance—until now. When Ridley breaks a promise, late night phone calls and secret rendezvous in the haystacks quickly transform into a reckless, all-consuming love.
Some promises are meant to be broken. Some secrets will not be contained, and sometimes the consequences we render are more than we can bear.

I'm completely stunned with this book.Usually I'm not big fan of my-best-friend-little sister-type of romance but there was something in the book title that just draw me in,and I'm so glad for it. From the first page I loved the main characters. Reagan was young, sweet,a little bit naive but very good person.I liked her inner "freak out" moments. She was a bit insecure but really sweet. Ridley is your typical teenage boy.Cocky, smart, cowboy and very good musician.I liked his nicknames for Reagan,he was definitely testing her patience. But as the book progresses you can see that he is nice guy and very much in love. What i liked best about this book is that this is not insta love romance. The main character do know each other for their entire lives but the love between them was not instant. You can feel it building from teenage crush to all consuming love and that is something that made this book amazing for me. I did had a problem with Reagan's mother though,I just couldn't understand her and i constantly felt that she put to much pressure on her children. The ending left me completely in shock, with the tear in my eye and very bad felling, but I'm hoping that the felling is wrong one.I need book two to be out soon. I look forward to reading more from these author and i recommend this book to everyone. It's absolutely amazing read.
OMG! Y'all need to grab a copy of this book and fall in love with Reagan and Ridley's story. I truly enjoyed watching their relationship blossom and grow! The cover is so pretty and the story was beautifully written. I highly recommend you spend the weekend lost in Love in Minor C. Also, I am really looking forward to Randi and Lincoln's story -- hint. Hint.
First of this isn't a standalone read this is at least a 2 book series and yes there is a cliff hanger. Now you have been warned now let's move on to why I am so glad this is more than one book. First the author is able to not only introduce us to these folks but able to have us understand the depth of it all. This isn't just about young love there is so much more and it's so much fun being apart of it and watching them grow without the angst. Second the author has taken an ordinary topic and made it into an entertaining read literally leaving us with our mouths hanging open wondering WTH?!?! That's ok dear sweet authors. I understand. It's what you do and what I continue to read your books. I love that this relationship stayed clean. I love that the story kept you invested in more from the characters and I can't wait to see what happens next. This is my first read by these two and it has been loads of fun and I look forward to more.
