Book 2 of the DreamMakers series. A red-hot collaboration from New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors VIVIAN AREND and ELLE KENNEDY.

He's ready to admit she's all grown up

After two tours of duty, former Army Ranger Jack Hunter is back in the US, working to keep DreamMakers a brilliant success. Now that his best friend's little sister is home from college, it's time to retire his hands-off policy and take action. He wants Pepper Wilson in his bed, but seducing the feisty redhead could be dangerous for more than one reason.

She's ready to push all his buttons

Pepper is tired of being bossed around by everyone in her life, especially arrogant, annoying, overbearing Jack Hunter. While she can't deny the man is out-of-this-world gorgeous, his alpha routine is getting old. His steely determination proves a match for her own, though, and the attraction simmering between them ignites into fiery passion.

But can their wild sexual exploration turn into more without someone getting burned?

About the Author

Vivian Arend has been around North America, through parts of Europe, and into Central and South America, often with no running water. When challenged to write a book, she gave it a shot, and discovered creating worlds to play in was nearly as addictive as traveling the real one.

Now a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of both contemporary and paranormal stories, Vivian continues to explore, write and otherwise keep herself well entertained.

A RITA-award nominated author, Elle Kennedy grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, and holds a B.A. in English from York University. From an early age, she knew she wanted to be a writer, and actively began pursuing that dream when she was a teenager.

Elle currently publishes with Signet Eclipse, Harlequin Romantic Suspense, and Samhain Publishing. She loves strong heroines and sexy alpha heroes, and just enough heat and danger to keep things interesting!

This is the second book in the Dream Makers trilogy which features three ex-military men who rather than starting the ubiquitous security company decide to carve out a new niche as date and event planners for clueless men. The premise is over the top, the stories are light, frothy and very sexy/kinky. All Fired Up, book one, has an average Goodreads rating of 3.89, and the negative reviews tend to have one thing in common, so consider this your spoiler/trigger warning.......there are threesomes. Book Two Starts with Pepper, the little sister of Parker the hero from the previous book, hiding out in the office because she has been injured from a fight/fall and doesn't want her brother to see her. Her and Jack (Parker's best friend and business partner) have had the hots for each other for years but nothing has ever come of it due to family dynamics and personal hang ups. When Jack offers to let Pepper crash at his place until she heals, it throws them into proximity with each other and of course, sparks go off. There is a little bit of the whole older brother not wanting younger sister to date his best friend thing (which never does make sense to me, because big brother obviously knows what a great guy he is) but that doesn't over shadow too much of the plot. Most of the book focuses on Pepper and her mysteries and her relationship with her brother. I enjoyed this book for the sexy ride it is, it's humorous with a bit of action and mystery, and it is well written, but deep reading it is not. On the more plus side though, the main characters do not exist in a vacuum, they have friends, guys and gals, and family connections, that make these characters and books feel real, despite the semi comically ridiculous jobs and zany antics. So don't expect the next literary award winner here, expect a fun and enjoyable hour or so that makes you look forward to the next book in the series. It is good vacation reading and I can't wait to learn about Dean.

## Too much arguing for my taste. I adored Parker's story, but this one about his sister Pepper wasn't great. God, she was exhausting. She kept insisting that she was a grown woman but she had tantrums and acted like a child so many times. And honestly, I didn't really like Jack either. Neither one of them were very likeable. Not to mention their lack of chemistry. THAT is a definite must for me. And if I had to hear one more time how many women these guys have been with and how many women they tag-teamed, I was going to throw my nook across the room. That was such a turn-off. I will not buy Dean's story, because after all his whoring around there is nothing that could make me believe that he could be faithful to one woman. I can't recommend this book.

Will be buying the next book in the series.  I have very much enjoyed the first two books of the series - good character development, good story, hot sex scenes, good lead-ins to next stories without diminishing the stand-alone strength of the book.  I know the next book is Dean's story, but I REALLY hope that that is not the end of the series.  Need stories on the other members of the Dream Makers team.

I read my first Elle Kennedy (One Night of Sin) a couple of weeks ago, adored it! Also as a parawhore I've read some of the Granite Lake Wolves books so I’m familiar with Vivian Arend. I therefore thought I would love this one as both are great authors but it fell just a little short.  It's an enjoyable read, no question of that. I knew going in I would have a hot alpha male and a sassy girl to tame him, I also knew it would be steamy and sexy and it delivered completely on all of this. Jack and Pepper are engaging leads as they banter and flirt their way through the book. Funny, a touch of kink, scorching hot and fabulous sexploits!  Suz is a secondary character with an amazing personality - I want to be her when I grow up and loved all her interactions.  It's an easy fluffy marshmallow read to fill a couple of hours with but where it failed for me was the expectation that the reader could believe 3 Rangers can come out of their military career and life to run a party planning company, also, that these successful alpha soldier men would not be security conscious with their women or their business was too unbelievable for me. I may be unfair in this thought but when I read fiction, and I have a hot alpha military man in my head & my fantasies, I want to believe he would do everything in his power to protect his woman and his family.  So to conclude, would I recommend it? Yes. Pepper is fabulous and Jack is yummy, the story is enjoyable (if a touch stretching the believability factor) and for a quick hot read it's more than worth a look.

LOVED IT!!!! Received an ARC copy from the author for a honest review. Loved, loved it!! Storyline was well written, entertaining and so dang hot. A definite page turning book that I couldn't put down. The chemistry was intense, passionate and sizzling between Jack and Pepper. Jack is such a sexy bad boy with a dirty mouth and a smile to die for. He's ready to go after what he wants and that happens to be Pepper, his best friend's sister. The humor in the book had me laughing out loud. Loved the characters and their interaction in this book. Would recommend! Can't wait to read more in this series

Another great DreamMakers story! Vivan Arend and Elle Kennedy make a great writing team! I was really looking forward to Jack and Pepper's story and was not disappointed. With book 2 in this series, we get to revisit with some previous characters and have a few new faces show up! Pepper comes home wanting to be more independent, but she has to deal with a stalker and two overprotective alphas, her brother and his best friend Jack. Pepper and Jack have known each other since they were kids, but now he starts to see that his best friend's little sister has grown up and the sparks start to fly. We get to see some background info on Jack and what made him who he is today. Such entertaining banter between all of the characters... they make me feel like I am with friends and family that can joke around and bug the crap out of you at the same time. They had me smiling and laughing along. Their personalities shine through the pages. I am most definitely looking forward to Dean's story which you get a little hint about... hope to see even more from this series and talented authors!
