Oh. My. Freaking. Goodness. This book is awesome. And awful. Joyful. Painful. Jaw-droppingly amazing. Seriously, I may not be able to sleep tonight. Are you trying to kill me, Lacey??? It started with the sweetest, most swoonworthy Valentine's Day ever, as celebrated by Cami and Dylan Wilcock. They were so happy, laughing over racy humor and reveling in their love for each other. I sighed and awwed, chortling a little at their antics, but underneath there was a sort of dreadful anticipation. In suspense stories, I've noticed that the happier the main characters are at the beginning, the worse it is going to be before the end. Never has that been more true. I was glued to every page from beginning to end. I guessed the identity of the troublemaker pretty early on, but there were a couple of twists that I did not see coming. While the mystery wasn't all that mysterious, the suspense was...murderous. I swear, I didn't move at all during the latter two thirds of the book except to turn pages. If you are an angst weenie, this book is not for you. As for me, I loved it, even when it made me cry. Which it did. A lot. Cami and Dylan were at their absolute best. I don't want to spoil anything, but you see new sides to them that made me love them even more. Especially Dylan. Russ, Dylan's best friend and fellow firefighter, played a large part in the story, and I think he could make a great hero in his own right. I can fall in love with two characters in one book, right? Love is darker, more intense than Crush or Smitten and it is officially my new favorite Lacey Weatherford novel. The emotions are so powerfully conveyed that I felt each and every one of them along with the characters. Now that it's over, I find myself torn between my usual, selfish desire for a sequel and a wish that Cami and Dylan never experience enough trouble to warrant another novel again. I received an e-copy of this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.

"Lacey Weatherford keeps the surprises coming. Just when you think the story ended at SMITTEN, she hits us with a semi truck, POW, with another fantastic and explosive storyline. Makes you fall in #LOVE with the characters all over again!”   when this author announces that she is having a new book release you know it's gonna be good.  In all the books and series she has written she has never disappointed this reader.  I always look forward to the next.  Dylan and Cami is couple that shows great dynamics as a team.  Their love for one another is timeless and heartfelt.  I highly recommend you take the journey into this series the characters are really developed into three dimensional qualities.  The story flows freely never seeming rushed.  I received a complimentary copy in exchange for a honest and unbiased opinion.

I loved EVERY. SINGLE. WORD. of this story. This was so much more than I could EVER have hoped and dreamed for. Both Crush and Smitten (books 1 and 2 in the series) had me feeling all kinds of emotions, I really feel like Love took everything I enjoy about reading and put it on STEROIDS. There was those tender moments between Cami and Hunter, the suspense I've come to expect from Lacey's writing, as well as the sharp wit often laced throughout the story. This was the complete experience and I couldn't put it down. The characters were well developed and fleshed out to where they were people I wish I knew in real life (HELLO, RUSS … that dude is hilarious) I become engrossed the more I read to the point where I’d gasp, laugh, or sob over what was happening. To me that’s the sign of a great storyteller – the ability to evoke the right amount to emotion and forge a connection between the characters and readers heart. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this book to anyone and everyone. It’s worth every penny and I eagerly await more stories from this author. Well done!

I really, really love this series! It is a nice change to read about a love that is so real and true! Too many books deal with cheating and fake love. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of drama and lots of surprises but the characters remain true to each other and get through the obstacles with love, family and honor! There were plenty of tears shed while reading this book but definite smiles at the end! I can't wait to read Russ's story! He is a great character and makes me laugh a lot! Keep writing Lacey, you rock!
