About the Author

Jennifer Kite-Powell adds honest angst, emotional logic and candor to her work. Influenced by Charles Bukowski, Bernadette Mayer, and Harold Pinter along with Mark Twain, Ranier Maria Rilke, and Milan Kundera, Kite-Powell brings a touch of acerbic reality, mixed with longing and realistic romanticism to her stream of consciousness poems short fiction. Her work in Love, Lust, Longing & Truth evokes a feeling, smell or emotion that leaves you at the edge of what's comfortable.

The author was born in San Antonio, Texas, grew up in Thomson, GA and has spent the past decade floating free in Europe. She currently lives nowhere, somewhere between here and there with her beagle Henry.

Chantal Calato
Calato is a multi-disciplinary artist who is influenced by her hometown Niagara Falls and its conflicted history of natural beauty and industrial waste. Her art spans across installation, photography, and painting. The constant is always a desire to create something that has lasting meaning when it exits the walls of her studio. Calato lives and works in New York City.
