Theodore Reinhart is a young man looking for love. In San Diego. At a convention. For penguin shifters. WaddleCon is the go-to event of the year when looking for your life partner, but Theodore isn’t comfortable with the game they’ve turned dating into, nor does the convention provide for the gay community. A mistake in speed dating table assignments puts Theodore in front of Wesley O’Neill, a handsome and confident model who lets it slip that he’s definitely noticed the spark of attraction between them.
A perfect date ends prematurely when Theodore finds an abandoned egg in a bathroom trash can. Unable to leave it behind, Theodore and Wesley play a mad game of cat and mouse across the resort trying to keep it safe, all while growing closer to one another. Wesley may be the forever partner Theodore came looking for, but their relationship won’t work if they don’t make room for a little addition to the family.

4-1/2 Stars Love, Marriage, and a Baby Carriage is an awesome short story by the talented CS Poe. Because of its shortness I won't say too much about the plot other than I found it incredibly fun. The whole penguin shifter element was just a delight to read. If you're looking for something super creepy then this might not fit the bill but its definitely worth the time to check it out. Fun, romantic, humorous, and just the right amount of dramatic action to tie Wes and Theo together. Definitely worth your time.
Independent reviewer for Divine Magazine, I was gifted my copy of this book. Theodore is in San Diego, looking for love, at a penguin shifter convention. Said convention doesn't cater for Theodore though, but he gets roped into speed dating and ends up in front of Wesley, who is much more to Theodore tastes than the ladies! An egg is found in the bathroom bin, a chase ensues across the resort, rules are broken and Theodore finally gets his man. I can't say this any other way except, too stinking cute!! It really is a delightful little read, about half hour's reading time for me. I've never read a penguin shifter book before, and this really was fabulous! Its only short, 38 pages according to Amazon, and is only told from Theodore's POV, but it packs quite a bit in those few pages. I wanted to hear from Wesley, of course I did, but it really didn't affect my reading experience by not hearing from him. I'm just greedy and I always want more. If you need a book to introduce you into the shifter world, or a book to introduce you to male/male romance, or a book to introduce you to C.S. Poe(as it was for me, and I would like to read a longer book now!) this book will be for you. A quick, easy read, not complicated, or taxing. Cute, too stinking cute is my first and final thought on this book! 4 stars **same worded review will appear on Goodreads, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and Dreamspinner Press**
