About the Author

A whale warrior, indie freedom fighter, and vodka martini aficionado, Kendall Grey is calm like an F-bomb*. She writes urban fantasy, rock star erotica, erotic suspense/thrillers, and apocalyptic science fiction. Swashbuckling cowboy priests in latex chaps are next on her To Write list**.

Kendall lives off a dirt road near Atlanta, Georgia with three mischievous Demonlings, a dashing geek in cyber armor, and a long-haired miniature Dachshund that thinks she's a cat.

* Detonation manual not included.

** Just kidding about the cowboy priests. Someone probably already did that.

More Jinx and Toombs!!! Are you freakin kidding me?! Of course I HAD to #1clickthisb*tch!!! If you have read this series, how can you not??? I was soo stinkin excited that Kendall Grey was giving us more of this awesome couple. I devoured this baby. Another amazing read from this amazing author. This was a quick read that had my heart racing and my chest tightening. And of course there was the sexiness that is to be expected with these couples. I absolutely loved it. I love the whole concept that Jinx and Toombs are aware that there relationship is certainly not at 100% and their love for each other runs so deep that they are not giving up and are willing to do whatever it takes to make it work. Brilliant!!  Oh Gianna and Jefferson, how you make my heart melt. The ending definitely had me gasping but completely elated that there is more Jinx and Toombs to look forward to. Eeek!! And throw some Rax into the mix……Yeah Baby!!! Can’t wait!

Love Notes: A Hard Rock Harlots B-Side by Kendall Grey Series: Hard Rock Harlots #3.5/Hard Rock Harlots B-Side #1 Genre: Erotic Romance (Holiday Themed) Age Group: Adult Release Date: December 16th 2015 Review Date: December 23rd 2014 Format: Kindle Source: Purchased Length: 52 pages Steam Level: VERY Hot! Overall Rating: 4 STARS Review: The Hard Rock Harlots series is one of my all-time favorites. So when I saw this one on Amazon I flipped my lid! I had no idea Kendall was continuing this series, it's like the best christmas present ever! (Thanks Kendall!) Love Notes focuses on Jinx and Toombs, who are actually my favorite couple in this series. I think that's because their journey was so difficult, they had so much to overcome just to be together. It was also a bit darker, and kind of taboo ;) They have been together for about a year and this is their first Christmas together. There are some underlying issues in their relationship they haven't been facing. And it is time for them to communicate or risk losing each other. This is a what happens after the HEA type of novel. "Sometimes life throws curveballs that force us to rethink the framework for our relationship, shuffle things around, and find ways to make old routines fit with new changes." So they decide to get away for the holidays to be alone and work on their relationship. The crux of the problem is sexual. They both love each other very much, but neither is getting what they need sexually. We know that Toombs is a submissive, and it was pretty obvious  in Beats that Jinx was becoming his Dom just to please him. But when she has to do this she is not being fulfilled sexually. In addition, she really dislikes hurting him because she's not a sadist, and Jinx is a hardcore masochist and so he needs her to be. "We both have to become someone we're not to satisfy the other." What will they do? Well, first they have to communicate, and communicate they do!!! I loved how they did this, and how I could feel their love for each other through the pages. I felt terrible for them, but I really felt they could work through this. Just how? Well we only get a glimpse of what is to come and it is very surprising! Basically, this is the intro to Hard Rock Harlots B-Side--what happens after the HEA. So I think all fans of the Hard Rock Harlots series should read it! It is very short but just what I needed when I'm strapped for time doing all things holiday. That's the only problem I had with Love Notes--it was too short! I wanted more more more!!!  However, Kendall promises there is more to come, and that all our questions will be answered in the year to come! I'm soooooo excited!!! WooHoo! P.S. I loved how The Gift of Magi was emulated.  ;)  ~StacyHgg of Books Unhinged

This book could have been a great read if it had been finished. It was only 54 pages. I felt that the author was rushed and careless. It had a character that had not been in this series. And it didn't explain who that person was. Overall the book was confusing because it was too short and didn't explain all the problems the characters were having. I was disappointed, since the other 2 books were so great....

This book actually left me disappointed, and I am really sorry to have to say that, because I love Kendall Grey's book. She is an amazing author. However, this story just was not what I thought it would be, and I honestly have to say I would have preferred if Jinx and Toombs' story was left at Beats. The story just felt like I was starting in the middle of a story another that I had not read before. There were constant references to Eve's birthday party but no details, and then to find out that the story is not complete and it will not be completed until next year was a serious let down. I thought we were getting a love story about Toombs and Jinx, there were glimpses of it in Love Notes but not enough, and in the end, I just felt like we got everything but that.
