Not a vegetarian but I am losing weight using a book called The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution, that I would recommend to anyone who is tired of gimmicky diets and weight loss fads. That's why the recipes in this book, Love Real Food, are amazing delicious and really support my weight loss efforts. My favorites are the Apple Muffins and the Black Bean Enchiladas. This book is definitely a must have!
These recipes are wonderful. I am slowly working my way through them and what I have made is absolutely delicious. It is evident that there has been so much work and care involved in the creation of this book. Thank you Kate for your recipes and thank you Cookie for your participation in the photos!
I absolutely LOVE this book. This book is perfect for those who are trying to eat more plant based in a fun way. Most recipes are vegetarian BUT it says how to replace certain things to make the recipe vegan. I suggest this book to really everyone because everyone can enjoy plant based food. This book is extremely organized and bright. There is a HUGE variety of meals, snacks, tips and tricks in this book. From smoothies, to sauces to summer desserts and fall soups.
Incredibly disappointing. Too many photos of the author and her dog. Not nearly enough recipes for lunch and dinner options. This is not a good blog to book.
I love this book. I've been following her blog Cookie and Kate for years. Her recipes are simple and involve real, delicious ingredients. I love the variety and the flavor and the little tips she weaves in. As an omnivore trying to cut down my meat consumption, this book and her blog have become my go-to cookbooks. I'll be buying this for many vegetarian friends for Christmas.
