Love: Uncivilized (An Uncivilized Novella) by Sawyer Bennett

How did things ever get to be so difficult?

Nearly eight years of marriage.
Two kids.
Hectic careers and major life choices.

Throw in sexual frustration, doubts, insecurities and one wild man not completely tamed by society, and you have a Christmas that's bound to get out of control.

Zacharias Easton will show you just how uncivilized love can be.

** Love: Uncivilized is a follow up novella to the book, Uncivilized. While it can be read as a stand alone, it is best appreciated after having read Uncivilized first.

About the Author

Since the release of her debut contemporary romance novel, Off Sides, in January 2013, Sawyer Bennett has released multiple books, many of which have appeared on the New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists.

A reformed trial lawyer from North Carolina, Sawyer uses real life experience to create relatable, sexy stories that appeal to a wide array of readers. From new adult to erotic contemporary romance, Sawyer writes something for just about everyone.

Sawyer likes her Bloody Marys strong, her martinis dirty, and her heroes a combination of the two. When not bringing fictional romance to life, Sawyer is a chauffeur, stylist, chef, maid, and personal assistant to a very active daughter, as well as full-time servant to her adorably naughty dogs. She believes in the good of others, and that a bad day can be cured with a great work-out, cake, or even better, both.

Sawyer also writes general and women’s fiction under the pen name S. Bennett and sweet romance under the name Juliette Poe.

I really did like the first book, however, this very short novella was a total waste of time and $$. Don't bother, it's a dead bore and I don't know why the author bothered.

Zach and Moira are back! If you read Uncivilized, you'll have a a continued peak into the lives of favorite characters eight years later. Never read? Never fear. Sawyer Bennett has crafted a novella that is a complete story without feeling like you 'have to' read the first book. However, I strongly recommend you read Uncivilized as its a wild storyline with lots and lots of a uncivilized man. After I finish a book where I've fallen in love with both main characters, I often wonder - what happened after their HEA? Did they stay? Did they have kids? Do they still love each other like they did? Here the reader gets a peek into fast forward eight years in a committed relationship. Ms. Bennett gives the reader a real story. You love each other but you get comfortable. You expect your partner to be there. But what if just 'being there' isn't enough? We get a view of alternating POV where making our significant other Number One isn't always easy. I absolutely loved this novella. I felt like I read through a complete story start to finish. I really appreciated that the author wove the story where reading or re-reading the original story wasn't a necessity. But, do yourself a favor, if you haven't, read Uncivilized too.

I was so delighted when I heard that we were going to get more Moira and Zach! I loved their original story, so to find out how they were doing after their HEA made me a very happy reader! Zach and Moira have been married for many years and now have two young children as part of their family. The story shows how the two are juggling their very full lives and how a couple that loves with abandon handles the stresses that real life puts on a marriage and a family. Sawyer Bennett shows in this novella that she isn't afraid to tackle the hard topics that real life couples have to deal with and she does it in a fantastic way. I loved this book and I'm so happy that we got to go back and visit the strong and animalistic love that Zach and Moira share!

What a fascinating look into the future with Moira and Zach !! Who would have thought that an uncivilized man could become a heart throb for all to admire....even his secretary..... But can Moira get her over worked over bearing uncivilized man see that he is working to much...missing out on the kids growing up and missing her as well !! But when the tables turn and Moira finds herself going back to work can they work it all out or will things start to fall apart ?? This book makes you think how important life is and who you want to be with in your life or where you should be !! Riveting !

This is a follow-up novella to Uncivilized and it's raw, real, and hot as hell! After eight years Moira and Zach are facing the challenges of any married with children couple. He works too much, she's not satisfied with the stay at home mom role she's currently in, finding time for true intimacy is all but impossible. They both know the problems but the solution is a bit more difficult to come up with. One thing they do know is that the love and respect they have for each other will pull them through this tough time. I definitely recommend this one but read Uncivilized first, you'll appreciate this one so much more.

I fell in love with Zach and Moira in Uncivilized and I was so glad when I received this novella. I would have loved more but you can't get their whole life, the author would eventually run out of material to write about. In this short story, Zach and Moira have been married almost eight years, with two kids and a hectic job that seem to pull them in different directions. While Moira is at home with the kids, Zach is spending long hours at work. Then Moira gets a part-time job and seems to not be around when Zach is home. Can these two people that were made for each other finally get their life in sync? Does Zach's secretary seem to be flirting with him? This story is HOT, sexy and a perfect addition to the first book. I wanted more but I think it ended perfectly. **Copy provided by the author in exchange for my honest review**
