Love So Perfect, Book 5 in Marquita’s contemporary romance series about the Lawson Brothers.

Star quarterback Austin Lawson’s dating life is fair game to the myriad gossip bloggers. Thanks to his most recent screw up with a social media savvy super model, he’s forced to return home so that his PR team can do damage control. To help speed things along, he volunteers at Jessamine Elementary School, never dreaming he’d find the perfect solution to his image problem in Harper Bell. Sweet as anything, she’s star struck by him and agrees to date-after-date, never suspecting the real reason he wants to be with her.

But as things begin to heat up between them, Austin realizes that he wants Harper for more than just a quick fix.

Harper Bell is perfectly content as a second grade teacher in the small town of Jessamine—until she meets the one man who makes her question her lack of social life. Ohhh Austin and Harper... sigh. Every time Marquita releases a new book and we get to visit the Lawsons in Jessamine, I have a smile on my face the entire time. Austin comes back home to Jessamine on the recommendation of his coaches and PR team so that he can try and clean up his image a bit after a not so great video releases of he and an ex. When he decides to volunteer at the school with a teacher and meets Harper, there is something about her that he cannot seem to get off of his mind. He knows she is the answer to all of his problems, and wants to spend more time with her as he gets to know her better. Austin and Harper connect SO well throughout the book. I love the way that Marquita makes them both very real. Harper is the true, quintessential girl next door, with real thoughts about her body image, as well as how others view her. She needs a strong confident man like Austin behind her to support her and show her that she IS strong and beautiful. Love So Perfect was another GREAT addition to the Lawson Brothers, and I cannot wait for the next addition to the series! :)

I have to say I've loved each and every book in the Lawson Brothers series, and Love So Perfect was another winner for me. While we haven't seen much of Austin Lawson so far in the series, since he is an NFL quarterback, I was pretty happy he was the next brother to get his story. While I hated how Austin was set up on social media, I loved that he went home to stay out of the media's prying eyes. I love he decided to volunteer at the Jessamine Elementary School and as soon as he saw Harper Bell he was totally hooked. I loved that Austin wanted to be with Harper from the very beginning. It was so cute to watch the big-time football player fall for a woman who had no idea who he was other than one of the Lawson brothers. We'd met Harper Bell briefly in Tristan and Lemon's book and while I knew she was Lemon's cousin, she was as far away from a McCoy woman as Lemon was. Maybe that's why I loved Harper so much from the very beginning. She loves teaching school and is perfectly happy living Jessamine. While Harper wants to find the love of her life, she was pretty happy as she was and I liked that strength about her. Harper and Austin had pretty great chemistry from the very beginning. I'll say I was mad at Austin for not being up front with Harper about why he had come home, but also understood he didn't want what had happened in his past to possibly effect what could happen between them. I loved that Austin and Harper's relationship moved slowly. Honestly I wouldn't have bought Harper jumping into bed with Austin to fast, even though she totally was attracted to him. I think I totally fell in love with Austin when he nursed a sick Harper for days in a row yet had his brother drop him off so no one would see his truck and think badly of Harper. Yes, that could totally be an issue in a small town. I really loved everything about Love So Perfect. I loved that Harper and Austin went from friends to lovers. I loved Austin didn't want to change anything about Harper and wanted to protect her. I also loved that even though Austin messed up in a big way, he also apologizes in a big way as well. Love So Perfect was an absolutely perfect sweet and sexy romance.

Love So Perfect is the fifth book in The Lawson Brothers series by Marquita Valentine and it is just as good as the other four. There is just something about a bad boy changing his ways when he finds the woman who steals his heart and all of the Lawson brothers fall hard for the women they love. Austin had been set up by his ex-girlfriend and needed to go home and stay out of the media's radar if by chance he could make them believe that his reputation was squeaky clean or improving then all the better. So when he caught Harper Bell in his sights he was going to do all he could to make her take notice, but falling for her hadn't been in the plan. Harper couldn't believe that someone like Austin would be interested in her. She was a school teacher, not very social and didn't think of herself as attractive. What did she have to offer to someone like Austin who was a sports star and dated models? She threw caution to the wind and went for it. She knew that most likely her heart would be broken, but Austin made her feel things that she had never felt before and she liked it. Definitely looking forward to reading more about the Lawson brothers in the future. I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

This story wasn't like the others it was more about becoming ones self and over coming fears. This was not my first or last rodeo with this amazing and very talented author. Her writing was amazing every word that she had put down is like magic in my mind. The words speak to you as if they are coming off the pages. This is a must read novel from start to finish your head will be spinning and your heart beating as fast as it can. MUST READ!!! 2 person POV. Take the chance and read the Lawson brothers you so don't want to miss out on these country loving, alpha type men and they way they love is hard as ever, which can make any woman fall to her knees. Not to mention once you reach the end you can't help but want more and more. ***I received this story for free in exchange for an honest review, see more of my review @ http://jmhoward2007.blogspot.com/2016/01/review-tour-love-so-perfect-by-marquita.html ***

I've enjoyed each and every one of the books in Marquita's Lawson Brothers series and Love So Perfect was no exception. I had pretty high expectations for this book because I'm a big fan of football in general and sports romances. I felt like this book had my name written all over it, and judging by the speed at which I read and how much I enjoyed it, I was totally right. I loved the pairing in Love So Perfect. Professional quarterback with a PR problem Austin and virginal elementary school teacher Harper might seem like a strange mix at first, but believe me when I say it worked. They had tons of chemistry from the start and that led to some pretty steamy, sexy scenes down the road. I really liked both of these characters. Harper was easy to connect with and Austin, despite some poor choices in the past – and how he was keeping the truth from Harper, really was a great guy. The conflict between them was predictable, but I didn't mind one single bit. I could see it coming a mile away, but I was wrapped up in the characters and their story, so I still wanted to see how everything would wind up getting resolved. Love So Perfect was a quick, sexy and uncomplicated read. There were a fair few swoons and it was low on angst. I enjoyed watching Harper and Austin navigate their attraction and everything that came with it – and I loved seeing some of my favorite Jessamine locals again. If you like small town romances with quirky characters, crazy, interconnected families and plenty of swoons, you should be reading Marquita's books. Each of the books in The Lawson Brothers series can be read as a standalone, but of course I think you should read them all. They're that good. I can't wait to see what comes next! I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. FAVORITE QUOTES: "The eyes never lie, sugar. What's in our heart is always in our gaze." "You've been mine since the first day I laid eyes on you," he countered. "Don't care what anyone says. It was kismet, serendipity... fate, you name it. I didn't plan on you, but it's the unexpected things in life that make it worth living."

I was amazed by how much I loved Love So Perfect, by Marquita Valentine, the fifth book in her Lawson Brothers series. This book exemplifies Valentine’s creativity, sexy and sensitive scenes, as well as her outstanding writing ability. This book stars the youngest Lawson brother, Austin, a star quarterback, and Harper Bell, a second grade teacher and relative of the McCoy family of Jessamine. Austin became a victim from the gossip world when a video breakup with his ex-girlfriend is displayed on social media by said ex. The team decides he should go home for a while to rebuild his reputation as his PR team does damage control. Austin decides to volunteer at the elementary school in Jessamine where he meets Harper, never dreaming she would be the solution to his problems. I loved the how Austin was the dream boyfriend. He took care of Harper when she became ill, loved her dog, cooked for her, and looked out for her. All the while he was doing this they began to share kisses and slowly fall for each other. Harper did not suspect or question Austin’s interest in a plain-Jane, like her, until one of her mean cousins shared the video at a monthly McCoy ladies luncheon. Austin missed many opportunities to tell Harper why he began to date her and how he underwent a change of heart, wanting to spend the rest of his life with her. Love So Perfect, although part of the Lawson Brothers series, is a standalone story. Valentine is a talented writer, able to create a wonderful sexy and romantic story that made it difficult, at least for this reader, to stop reading. This is a must read for anyone who enjoys a good contemporary romance. I love books written by Marquita Valentine. Now I can’t wait for her next Lawson Brothers story, Love So Unexpected, Caleb’s story, coming spring 2016. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review

The perfect way to fall in Love. Austin Lawson may be a star quarterback but he has been sent back to his hometown because of a PR nightmare of his own making, or at least of his ex-girlfriend's making. Harper Bell is a second grade teacher and Austin is volunteering in her class. Sparks fly when these two get together and what looks like a perfect fix to his reputation has Austin questioning everything. This is the 5th installment in the Lawson Brothers books and just as spectacular as the others. This pairing is absolutely perfect for many reasons you need to read to find out for yourself. **Received this ARC in exchange for an honest review**

Very enjoyable read!! Austin Lawson is all kinds of yummy and finds himself in a bit of a PR nightmare. So he's back home in Jessamine waiting for things to cool down. While he's there he's volunteering at the local elementary school and meets the very intriguing Harper Bell. He's definitely interested in getting to know her better and she's definitely someone who could help improve his image. He probably should have told her what he was doing though!! A very well written story with great characters and an interesting storyline. Definitely one I recommend.

Just finished the latest book in the Lawson series: Love so Perfect by Marquita Valentine. Have been looking forward to reading Harper and Austin's story since I found out about it last year. Am happy to say it lived up to my expectations. Austin was every bit the immature playboy I pictured him to be BUT he also had the heart of a romantic. It just took a publicity disaster and a trip home to set him him straight. Harper was the catalyst to Austin's wake up call. Harper is a rarity. Beautiful inside and out BUT in a family of diamonds she sees herself as a lump of coal. If I had to pick something to take away from this story it is that with a little polish and effort the simplest objects can become the most precious. The will to put forth the work is what makes it a treasure. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Five gold stars.
