Love Surfaced by Michelle Lynn

The equations are simple.

Piper Ashby + Brad Ashby = Twin Siblings
Brad Ashby + Tanner McCain = Best Friends
Piper Ashby + Tanner McCain = Off limits

Tanner and I abided by the rules. We stayed on our designated sides of the relationship circle.

Ignoring swarming butterflies.
Brushing off skipped heartbeats.
Settling on lingering stares.

Here's the secret ... a hand extended over that invisible line once, exponentially changing the equation. I was convinced we could make our relationship work until Tanner broke the trust he embedded in me from the age of seven.

One deceit of mega proportions and the relationship we built for that short month vanished. I swore never to speak to him again and it's worked. Until now--two years later, when my brother's wedding places me face-to-face with the best man--Tanner McCain.

Leaving one equation to be solved. Can love surface twice?

About the Author

Michelle Lynn is a USA Today Bestselling Author. She moved around the Midwest most of her life, transferring from school to school before settling down in the outskirts of Chicago ten years ago, where she now resides with her husband and two kids. She developed a love of reading at a young age, which helped lay the foundation for her passion to write. With the encouragement of her family, she finally sat down and wrote one of the many stories that have been floating around in her head. When she isn't reading or writing, she can be found playing with her kids, talking to her mom on the phone, or hanging out with her family and friends. But after chasing around two preschools all day, she always cherishes her relaxation time after putting the kids to bed.

This is Piper and Tanner's story.  I gave this book 5 stars. I love Miss Michelle's  books!! Like a fat kid loves cake.  I haven't read her stuff in so long and forgot how much I loved this Author. She is amazing!! This story was beautiful and page turning and I couldn't put it down. It made me happy and sad. Tanner has always been something that Piper has wanted, but they both know that any relationship beyond friendship was going to be looked at as off limits! Big brother Brad has more then said so more than once. But that doesn't stop them from having feelings for each other. This relationship was bound to happen like a flower waiting to blossom. It is beautiful, but is breathtakingly amazing once it is in full bloom. This is Tanner and Piper.  This is a sweet, loving amazing book that you will not be able to put down. It will have you smiling and laughing with them. It will have you getting angry and being sad right along with them again. Find out what happens to Tanner and Piper when it comes right down to the point of having to choose weather they are going to go all in or sacrifice how they feel for the others around them.  Thank you Michelle for yet another amazing story!!! <3

Love Surfaced is one of the sweetest second chance romances that I have read. I am a sucker for best friends ending up together so for me, this book was all sorts of sweetness for my beating heart. Tanner may have been Brad's BFF but Piper was with those two boys more than she wasn't and the both of them have wanting to cross the threshold of being friends to lovers. Now, I say that this is a second chance romance, and it is, so there is a little bit more to this then just going from friends to lovers. A situation that creates a distance between Tanner and Piper. This was a bit of a torture point for me because we don't know what exactly it is that happened between them to cause the distance. The book is told from Piper's POV and we don't get to know what is going on in Tanners head. So for a portion of the book I was constantly thinking about all of the things that he could have done to cause the distance. It drove me crazy, I just wanted to know what happened! The distance created of course leads us to the second chance romance part and Tanner comes back into Piper's life ready to fight for her. I am talking the respectful sweet sort of fighting. I had a soft spot for Tanner already but he gained a lot of respect for how he goes about getting Piper back. Ready and willing to do whatever it takes but not taking it too far. Piper is one lucky girl to have found a guy such as Tanner to love her. The sweetest part of this whole book for me is that Piper and Tanner loved each other before they ever did anything about it. The both of them sharing a life together, witnessing changes and hardships, the dedication and personality of who they really are. Not everyone gets to have such a relationship and for I think that these romances are often the very best.
