J.H. Croix wrote a romance based upon instant attraction and morality. This is not a cliffhanger but is a part of a series J. H. Croix writes about Alaska. This is an adult focused story with explicit sex. Not for children. I was not amazed that Alaska has a huge problem with domestic abuse. I was captured by J.H.Croix's depiction of a woman who escaped such a marriage and the psychological damage that scarred her self esteem. There were a few grammatical glitches but the heart of the story was well developed. I ended up caring about what happened to the characters. Although I recommend this story, the names were confusing... I kept reading "Trey" as "They" initially. It may be a common name in Alaska, but her in the lower 48 it is a bit unusual. Enjoy you adventure!!!!! I did!!!

I normally enjoy this writer even though she makes the women to be wishy washy but she went too far with Emma. For a therapist she didn't have much control on her feelings and worried too much. It got old especially with Trey having his own feelings that he dwelt well with.

GJRA. I enjoyed this love story very much, I'm so sorry for all the women who have to endure abusive men. I skipped a lot of pages because of the very long descriptive sex scenes, to me it would have been better not have 10 pages of sex, over and over. I really like sex scenes that leave something to my imagination, 193 pages. 3 stars because too explicit. GJRA
