I purchased this book thinking that it had a different story line that added to the original copy of the book, but sadly there wasn't anything new. Just wasted 5.00 on another copy of the original book. Not good Melissa . Oh by the way , the books are not listed in the correct order in which they should be read. In some cases you have couples already married with babies on the way before you read the book with their weddings in them. If you are going to do a series , then you need to have them in the correct order in which the events take place . Just my opinion .

This reimagined view of Treat and Max's romance was a a new read for me. Every book by Ms. Foster has a way of pulling me and making me fall in love with her world, this book was no exception. Ms. Foster has a way of making her men strong but sensitive and her women independent, sometimes to a fault. Treat was that strong but very in tune with his feelings man that always has me rooting for him. Max, well she made me want to yell and scream at her a lot, but I couldn't stop rooting for her either. I really couldn't believe that I hadn't already read this book and now I have to go look and see how many others I have missed!

This is a special “treat” giving readers a new version of Treat Braden and Max Armstrong’s incredible love story! After working together, via telephone, to plan a mutual friend’s wedding Treat and Max finally meet while she’s at his resort in the Bahamas. After a magically romantic evening, a misunderstanding sends Max running home and leaves Treat with regrets. But when he decides to head to Colorado to visit his family, he is pleasantly surprised to find Max living and working there and decides to take advantage of his second chance. As typical with anything written by Melissa Foster, I loved this novel and fell in love with Treat and Max. I have to admit that for some reason, the beginning felt a bit slow and I did struggle to get fully engaged in their story. However, that problem did not last for long and I was quickly sucked into the incredible romance between Treat and Max. I enjoyed both main characters, but there are truly no words for the incredible yumminess that is Treat Braden. He’s smart, sexy, successful, polite, romantic, and super tall (a bonus)! I loved this man from beginning to end! I can’t say that I was blown away by any of Treat’s brothers, but I also adored his father and sister. This novel is not just romance, however, but in true Melissa Foster form, manages to weave relevant and relatable issues regarding family, careers, romance, love, and loss. I absolutely LOVED the fact that Treat’s Dad spoke to his late wife’s horse, Hope, as if he were speaking to her, I loved Treat’s incredible manners and gentlemanly ways about him – while also being incredibly sexy, and I loved how the stars aligned with Max in Wellfleet meeting Treat’s dear friends. Add this one to your TBR because this is not a novel to miss! Melissa Foster has once again wowed me with her characters, her voice, and her message.

Forgiveness heals a broken heart Holding any grudges can ruin your soul. You have to face the demons. Forgiveness heals a broken heart. Life would be easy when we let go of the bad emotions. Treat is a man that woman should have as a boyfriend and a husband. This guy knows how to treat a woman right. He has the looks, the job and above all the heart. I am swooning with the chocolate and Max brings the Victoria's Secret is even perfect for these lovebirds for a night full of love and passion. This book is such a beautiful read. It tackles everything from family, friendship and animals. It is an emotional book of healing. Ms. Melissa Foster's story gets even better and better in each story. I am sure she does it in purpose to make her readers laugh out loud and then swoon.

In the original Treat & Max book, Love So Sweet, we are swept along a passionate romance with Treat and Max. While they had plenty of ups- their relationship almost nearly stopped dead in the water. Through heart ache and facing their own demons Treat and Max took a second chance with each other, and came out stronger because of it. Lovers At Heart is a second installment if you will of Treat and Max, slightly different than Love So Sweet. We are treated with more of a in depth back story of how Treat and Max's passion first ignited at Nassau. We are taken along with them as they are faced with some personal challenges, ones they seem to have realized they can't just face alone, but together. Their chemistry is still strong and hard to miss with the turning of each page. Neither want to turn away from each other, yet both are facing some demons that they must over come before either can really have a future together. It was great to see how both Treat and Max understood that they had to deal with things in the past in order to move forwards in this book, it was a great addition to their story and how well they fit together. They really compliment each other in many ways, challenge each other and deeply care for one another. If you enjoy a great heart warming story, this is for you!

This was a very romantic story with heat. The characters were great and engaging. They pilled me right into their story. Learning what Max went through broke my heart, but so happy for her to find someone like Treat. Treat has some inner issues he has to work through himself and with the help of Max he may just heal as well. Treat had many swoon worthy moments especially when it came to Max. All of Treat's siblings were intriguing. This a book I wouldn't pass up!

I wanted to read this book because I remember reading and loving the original Lovers at Heart. This reimagined version is just as good! Melissa Foster did an amazing job rewriting this book that was already a favorite of mine. No matter if you've read the original or not this one will not dissapoint. In this story we meet Max & Treat. I have always loved stories where opposites attract and this is definitely one of those. I felt that this story gave me more of an insight into their relationship than the first book. Max & Treat have always been one of my favorite couples and will definitely continue to be. Thank you Melissa for revamping this amazing romance!

This well-written story really caught and held my attention. Max and Treat have a chance encounter, which brings their past back to the present. They had an intense connection, but something had caused Max to turn away, leaving Treat unable to stop thinking about her. When they run into each other again they start to rebuild. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books by this author.

Lovers at Heart is a strong romantic read. The main characters both have their demons from their past that's been weighing them down. Lovers at Heart is a wonderful read where the main characters grow together. Max is a careful woman who got out of an abusive relationship when she was in college. That relationship shapes how she deals with dating and intimacy. It's held her back from finding love until Treat comes into her life. Treat is an amazing gentleman. He's hard working, patient, and loyal to his family. Losing his mom as a child left him feeling like he needed to take charge and be there for his siblings. His protective tendencies and patience with Max is what made me really like Treat. I really enjoy how focused this story is on communication. Treat communicating with Max is some of the sweetest moments in this story. The only thing I wish this story had is more moments or interactions between Max and Treat's family together. I received this story as an Advance Reader's Copy. I volunteered to leave my review. All opinions are my own.

Just when I didn’t think Treat and Max's story could get any better, Melissa Foster proved me wrong. Within the Love in Bloom series, I have always loved Max and Treat in Lovers at Heart. I wasn't sure how I would feel reading their story again but I couldn’t put the book down. Reimagined just made their story better! The extra details that were added to the story of these two just enhanced the book. We are more aware of how they met, misunderstandings, insecurities and their love of each other and family to find their happily ever after. As one of my favorite couples Melissa Foster did not disappoint me in Reimagined.

Oh, Melissa! She has an incredible method of hitting my soft spots to make tears fall, followed by giggles that warm my heart. I didn't read Max and Treat's story the first time around; but the Reimagined version was sweet and fulfilled every romantic/sweet notion I have about reading Melissa's books. Max is full of spunk yet because of her past, she keeps it hidden -- until Treat brings it out in her. He is incredibly kind, romantic, gentle, and patient with her. The Braden family shows us that a little bit of miscommunication can pull a family apart. I loved how Max brought strength to Treat for him to mend fences with his siblings and father. Melissa gives me another swoon-worthy couple to drool over and envy with Max & Treat! I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

I have a confession to make, I have not read Treat and Max's original story, so how this is re-imagined I am not sure, but one thing I am sure off is that this is a truly heartwarming story of second chances by the very talented Melissa Foster. Her Love in Bloom universe is immense and each book is different but all have characters that are real, relatable and easy to fall for. Lovers at Heat is an emotional ride for Treat Braden and Max Armstrong. They shared a magical evening together and the day after based on a misunderstanding Max ran from Treat and he has been longing for her every since. Six months later Treat heads back home to his father ranch and family and a chance meeting sees him bump into Max! The desire he felt for all this time bubbles to the surface and he is determined not to let her run away again. Max has been betrayed in the past and never in a million years did she expect to fall hard for Treat - a man who could have any woman on earth by the way, but he chose her. But her past insecurity and betrayal caused her to run, and Treat had no idea just what he had done. Once they finally get together again, and Max explains her past, Treat tells her about his own betrayal and proves that he is nothing like her ex. This is one emotional story for Max, and I absolutely loved every moment of it from the first to last page, I loved how they were together and how above all love prevails no matter what happens.

Lovers at Heart Reimagined by Melissa Foster The Bradens #1.5 Treat Braden grew up on a ranch but later went into the resort business and did a booming business with locations around the world. Max Armstrong works with a friend to arrange events and one event saw her arranging a wedding at Treat’s resort in Nassau. They spoke over the phone, met in person and spent a memorable evening together BUT something went wrong. That said, they couldn’t stop thinking about one another and wondered “what if?”. By coincidence they meet again at an event when Treat returns to his father’s ranch for some down time. When they see one another the embers left from their time together are rekindled. They have a fairly straightforward courtship with a few glitches thrown in and one rather bad experience from Max’s past that she needs to get over before a HEA can be achieved. I enjoyed this book and wonder if I had read the original novella or any other books in this series it would have made a difference as so many have said it was wonderful. Not having read anything in this series or the related one I came away feeling I had enjoyed time getting to know the couple and was intrigued by the family and now want to read more about Treat’s siblings and how they will end up finding their HEAs. Thank you to the author and Inkslinger PR for the ARC – This is my honest review. 4 Stars

This was my first book by Melissa Foster and I am glad that it was. I know that I will be reading many more by her now. Treat and Max just touched my heart from the first page. They gave me hope that love always finds a way, even when you may have given up on it. They were very realistic in the sense that they had their struggles, highs and lows, and challenges to overcome, just as any couple would. I definitely know that there was a reason this was "reimagined" as the characters had a maturity about them that made their actions understandable. This was a well done rewrite on an already great story!

Not having read the previous edition of this book I went in with an open mind. I was excited to learn about the book that started it all with Trent Braden and Max Armstrong’s story. Treat had no interest in finding love, happy with the casual hook ups he has had, but when he met Max it was like lightening striking, such was their connection. However it is not all smooth sailing as Max refuses to answer his calls and he has no idea why. When fate brings Treat and Max together again he will not lose the opportunity. I loved how Melissa Foster wove a story about hope, of overcoming one’s past and embracing ones present and moving forward together. As with real life not all goes smoothly but it is the ”realness” of their relationship that she describes that makes this such a great book. Lovers At Heart: Reimagined is a beautiful and romantic love story which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I was skeptical about reading this book because the original was such a huge part of my falling in love with the entire series (I loved every book from the Snow Sisters on) but Lover's At Heart, Reimagined) made me fall in love all over again. I am a big lover of Treat and Max but in this version, it brings them together more and faster as well as takes you on a journey with them that takes along your heart! Love, love, love this book and look forward to the new things that come from it!!! Five stars!!!

Fans of this series, you are seriously in for a good treat. Lovers At Heart has been re-imagined and given a fresh new look. This book can be read as a stand-alone and can be enjoyed by new and old readers alike. Melissa Foster has breathed new life into a familiar story while still delivering the swoon that we’ve all come to know and enjoy… Told from dual points of view, Lovers At Heart follows the story of Max and Treat. From the moment I met these two, I was dying to know what could possibly gone wrong. The sparks and chemistry will still there, like it was their first meeting. But, just like with any new relationships, the foundation hasn’t been built yet, so misunderstandings or a wrong impression have the power to make a mess of things. But, I had a feeling about Max and Treat. They were so good together that I just knew their story couldn’t be over. It was a joy watching these two trying to figure things out and it was a lot of fun seeing how this series began. Lovers At Heart was a terrific read from beginning to end. I loved spending the day getting lost in Max and Treat. Their story made me swoon, fall in love and believe in second chances.

Treat Braden is my all time favorite Braden. With the original Lovers at Heart, he won me over with his persistence, his strength, and his love of family. With the Reimagined version of Lovers at Heart, he just won me over again. I love that Melissa Foster took an original story and re-wrote it to make it into a story that fits the characters better. In rewriting the story, Melissa Foster did not take anything away from Treat and Max’s story but instead took characters and built on their story making it just as wonderful as the original. The rest of the Braden family are all found within Treat’s story and of course, my second favorite Braden, Hal the father, makes a huge appearance. The wisdom, the strength, and the love of this family is so strong, so real, and so beautiful. I can hear Hal’s strong and firm voice that is so full of love and respect for those that he is talking to. His words lay the groundwork for all the other Braden family members. Melissa Foster re-wrote a book that was already a fan favorite. Anyone who read the first writing of the story will find the second writing just as wonderful.

At first, I was a little hesitant to read this book. I wasn't even sure why it had to be re-written in the first place. After reading it, however, I totally understand why. Treat and Max are much closer in this book. The original version had them apart for huge portions of the story, which isn't really something you want in a romance novel. As I read, I realized that was the main reason why I didn't feel so connected to Treat & Max as I have to other Melissa Foster couples. Also, I like how Treat and Max's previous romantic encounter (which took place in another book) is detailed a little more for those who didn't read the other book. Since this book was the start of a new series, I was confused with all of the previous series references. This rewritten version makes it much clearer. I also want to make clear that this isn't just a reworded version of the original story. There's a new subplot and an appearance by a future series character that weren't present in the original version. This isn't one of those situations where you buy a book and are ticked off because it's the exact same story that you already read. I truly believe that this book is worth the investment.

Treat Braden is a resort owning, tender hearted family man who runs into Max Armstrong at a wedding. He is captivated by her and they spend one fabulous night together and he jumps to the wrong conclusion and almost loses her. Jump ahead 6 months and fate steps in. They are in the same town at a festival where they run into each other again. They have both thought of each other often and wondered how things could have gone so wrong when everything between them was so right. This is a story of second chances with Romance, understanding, and unconditional love. You won’t be disappointed if you read it. Max and Treat are a great couple. Kudos to the Melissa Foster for drawing you into their world and making you want to live there.

Lovers at Heart was the first book I read in the Love in Bloom series and it hooked me from the start. In Lovers at Heart, Reimagined, Melissa Foster brings the story of Treat and Max to a whole new level. Max and Treat start their relationship with some misunderstandings based on not taking the time to talk and by the end of the story, they are able to joke about their beginning and realize how important it is to communicate when there is an issue instead of making assumptions. I love how Max and Treat learn together that a relationship includes "give and take" and that they are not going to lose themselves by becoming flexible for another person who will help them get to happily ever after.

Lover's at Heart, Reimagined -Reading this book warms the heart. I realized how much I enjoy reading about the Braden family, especially the Braden's from Colorado. When I read Treat and Max's story the first time I was drawn in and wanted them to find their happy ending. Reading about them this time and getting more background detail of what happened before they met and what the need to over come to be together made their story so much better. Thank you, Melissa Foster for another look into the Braden Family. If you haven't read any of the Braden stories I recommend this one as a must read!

This was my first foray into the Bradens and I was not let down. A lot of family dynamics. A lot of self inspection. A lot of finally talking things out. A lot of miscommunication. Max has internalized a lot of things in her life. That's how she's become the person she is and how she is so good at her job. Treat wants to be the man she needs, but he needs to come to terms with his own demons. Treat was only 11 years old when his mother died. His father fell to pieces and Treat had to become parent to his brothers and sisters. For the next seven years he made sure they were taken care of. Then he escaped. That's when family dynamics changed. It took him coming to terms with walking out on his family and why and admitting it to his family before the family dynamics started to fall back into place. Meanwhile Max is dealing with her fears of Treat resenting her if she asks him to change his life. Her fears are based on assumptions made back in college during an emotional time. It took her confronting her demons from that time to realize what she thought wasn't reality. The shopping spree with Kaylie sounded like so much fun. I'm looking forward to more of Hope and her conversations with Hal.

This was a fun trip back to Treat & Max's story. I loved their original story and at first was surprised when the author said that she was going to revisit Treat & Max, that there was more to their story. I was so happy she did. Despite their differences, it was fun to see them communicate with each other & how they were the other's perfect match.
