This book is complete in itself; BUT, too short less than 80=pages and that made it very disappointing. It was almost like the author could not wait to get all the stories over with.

This was my first read from Rachel and I have to say that I am so hooked!!! It has been forever since I laughed out loud reading a book, but this one made me!!! It was such a fun read! Humor and romance, what more could you ask for??? I absolutely love Rachel's writing style!! Lizzie and Thomas, newly weds, have such a "cute" love for each other that you instantly fall in love with them. They are so down to Earth and do not flaunt their money. The way that Lizzie's family is so warm and loving leaves you with a good feeling. The family drama added so much humor to the book!! The Medina family is one that anyone can feel welcome with. They open their home to 3 visitors and friends of Thomas and Lizzie that were stranded in their town over the Holidays. This time of year always makes people feel sentimental, but everyone spending this time together with the Medina's seemed extra special. Thanks Rachel for such a great read. I can not wait for more from you!! (I just wish this book had been so much longer!)

I received this book as an ARC for my honest review. I loved the continuation in this series.  Rachel has done it again!  Fabulous, romantic, witty and with great feeling.  Highly recommended.  You won't be disappointed!   A lovely Christmas story.

I love Rachel Schurig's books. They are peopled with such loveable characters and 'Lovestruck at Christmas' continues the story of Lizzie and Thomas from the previous Lovestruck books. It could be read as a stand alone novel though you won't get quite as caught up in it all if you haven't read the other 3 preceding books. I must admit, I was a bit sad that this was a novella (just that little bit shorter)! It's very much a teaser I hope of a story that will continue with some of the other characters we've met in the series - namely Lizzie's cousin Sofie and the charming movie star Jackson Coles (read 'Sofie and the Movie Star' as part of the LOL vol 2 pack for some more hot gossip on these two!) Spoiler alerts from the previous books - This short story tells the tale straight after 'Lovestruck Forever', just a few weeks after Lizzie and Thomas get married. They're in the house they're renovating and once again, there are Medina family dramas! Christmas day looms and Lizzie and Thomas are back in Detroit visiting Lizzie's family including the very pregnant Sofie..... No spoilers on this book but you will finish it wishing there was more to read! I love Lizzie and Thomas and I think a lot of readers will identify with the well meaning but interfering Medina clan.

This was such a great novella to get an update on Thomas and Lizzie and the rest of their friends and families at Christmas time! I love that these books always contain such human emotion - I laughed, cried, and a whole range of other emotions during the mayhem that we see both in London and in the U.S. I loved seeing the updates on Sofie and can't wait to find out more! Fans of the Lovestruck books will definitely want to check out the Sofie and the Movie Star short story in the LOL #2 anthology. I received this story for free as an ARC, but I genuinely recommend all of Rachel Schurig's books, from the Ransom brother books, to the Three Girls and everything else in between. You cannot go wrong.
