About the Author

Born to the pothole-ridden streets of Pittsburgh, PA, USA Today Bestselling Author Danielle Monsch started writing in a time long ago, a time when there were not enough vampire stories to read and she had to write her own to fill the void. Yes, such a time of darkness did indeed exist.

Danielle writes stories full of fantastical goodness and plenty of action, but always with lots of romance (and a bit of woo-hoo!) mixed in. Vampires and Werewolves and Demons and Angels, Sword & Sorcery, Fairy Tales, Updated Mythologies and the like - if it's out of the ordinary, it's fair game for her stories.

Oh my! This was PERFECTION and I loved it!                                                                                               This is AN AWESOME HOT fractured fairy tale that I will want to read again and again! I've loved the prior two tales in this series and I highly recommend them! This third one is the BEST yet! If you love to read fairy tales re-told, all of her stories are MUST reads and this one is the crowning glory!! Princess Rosamund has been cursed from birth that she will cut herself with a spinning wheel on her 23rd birthday and fall into a forever slumber. Princess Rosamund is Prince Seth's fiance. Kira is Prince Seth's best friend and his bodyguard. The fate of these three turns as the fairy tale is told.  Danielle's books have quickly become MUST-READS for me! Her humor, quirky story-line twists and flowing writing style are totally awesome! 5 STARS!!!!!!

Seth knows what he has to do as prince of his kingdom. He is betrothed to a princess who has been cursed. He knows he has to marry her and make the kingdom happy. What he really wants is his best friend and guard Kira. He sets out on a mission with Kira to break the curse on his princess who they call Sleeping Beauty. He finds it harder to fight his love for Kira along the way and he doesn't know how he will break the curse Sleeping Beauty is under when he loves another. This is a quick read and a retelling of Sleeping Beauty as you can tell. I liked it as really no one was perfect in this book. Seth will do what he has to for his kingdom but it doesn't stop him from wanting what he shouldn't have. He stands up to his father and does show some backbone at times. I really like Kira as she is strong and not the one to stand by waiting for a man to protect her. You do have a villain type in the story in the form of to me the Kings. They don't care who gets hurt in their way to what they want. The story I hate to sound this way but is charming. If your looking for a quick read and enjoy fairy tale retellings you may enjoy this one. I love the cover of it.

Loving A Prince Charming is the third in the Fairy Tales & Ever Afters series. This one is the author's version of Sleeping Beauty and, like the others in the series, is a delightful take on an old tale. Everyone knows the story, of course, of how the princess was cursed with death at birth by a witch and that three fairy godmothers twisted the curse to eternal slumber to be broken by true love's kiss. Ms. Monsch's version takes the characters and fleshes them out, giving the story a breath of fresh air. I won't reveal any of the plot twists, except to say that all of the Fairy Tails have a lovely twist to them that adds to the charm of the original stories and makes the retelling uniquely hers. Ms. Monsch has become an auto-buy author for me and one that I check on frequently to see if the next work in progress is ready yet. Well written, clever, witty, sexy, and just plain fun, these are fairy tales for grown ups and, having loved fairy tales as a child, I am truly enjoying the new and improved version. Well worth the money and just as good with multiple re-readings. Enjoy!

Loving a Prince Charming by Danielle Monsch is a great story. Prince Charming does not spend his time looking for his sleeping beauty whom is locked away in a tower. He, spends his time waiting for her curse to come to its end so her father will release her from the secluded room she is kept in. When Pricnce Charming discovers the hardships his betrothed is facing he vows to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Keeping that vow is not as easy as it would.

4 STARS Fairy Tales & Ever Afters , Book 3 This was a good remake of sleeping beauty. I figured out where the story was going to go early on though. There was one sex scene it could of done without. I love fairy tales. The plot is Sleeping Beauty. Rosamund is cursed she will cut herself on a spinning wheel by her 23 birthday and fall into a deep sleep till the curse is lifted. Prince Seth at her birth was made the Princess betrothed. When Prince Seth is around 13 he meets I like Prince Seth how honor and duty means a lot. He is prince of a neighboring Kingdom. He is willing to do a lot to keep his promise. He also is a good friend. He admires something about his father but realizes that all is not right. Kira is a strong woman and is willing to follow her friend Prince Seth. She has some faults which makes her human. Rosamund you feel sorry for being kept safe in a room without windows all her life with only the King visiting with her until Prince Seth. The two Kings are not so likeable. They are doing what they feel is right for there Kingdoms. This is a short novel but entertaining. This is the first book I have read by Danielle Monsch but I would like to read her other stories in the fairytale series. I was given this ebook to read by Netgalley and asked to give a honest review of it when done. 04/18/2013 PUB. Romantic Geek Publishing 90 pages ISBN:9781938593024

Gah! Danielle Monsch, are you ever going to write a story that I don't just absolutely love?? (I hope not!! Lol) This is the third novella in Danielle Monsch's Fairy Tales & Ever After series, and in my opinion, it is the best one so far. I absolutely loved everything about it - not one thing to complain about - which if you read my reviews, you know is rare! "Loving a Prince Charming" is Danielle's twisted retelling of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale. Prince Charming (Seth) has been betrothed to Rosamund (aka Sleeping Beauty) since they were children. They both know the curse is coming and that the only way to break it will be true love's kiss. The only problem is, Seth has it bad for his personal bodyguard, Kira. However, in true Prince Charming fashion, Seth is determined to keep his vow to Rosamund, so he fights his growing feelings for Kira vehemently. " And if he told her that, if he gave voice to the deepest murmurs of his heart, then the action of making it real, giving it substance would make it happen. His heart would be hers. He would be helplessly in love with her and only her. And Rosamund would be damned." And Kira knows that even though she loves him with all of her heart, she can't put him in a compromising position. His integrity, honesty and loyalty are the qualities about him that make her love him so much. If she makes him abandon those traits, she knows he will no longer be the man she loves. "In the morning, you are going to go to Rosamund and fulfill your promise. And me? I'm going to go far, far away. I have to, because I can't stay here and be close to you while you live and love someone else - I'll either become a bitter old woman who hates everything, or I'll try to make you something I despise, and that is a man who will not honor his word. And I don't want either of those things to happen. So I need to go, and you need to let me." But things aren't always as they seem, are they? Especially not in a Danielle Monsch fairy tale! This story has several twists, all in just the right spot at just the right time. I couldn't put this down until I had swiped the last page on my e-reader. Bravo, Danielle! I loved it, and give it a very big, sparkly, set of 5 stars.
