“Loving Liam” is a wonderful romance story. It held my interest right from the beginning. It is about Rachel Montgomery, a teacher making a complete change in her life. She moves from a warm large beach city in California to a small town with cold snowy winters in the North West. She will be bringing her own ideas as the new principal. It is a hard sell to the other teachers of this small town. One teacher in particular, Liam O’Brien isn’t happy about the new changes. How will Rachel adjust to the new people and cold weather? I love the description of the town and the surrounding beautiful countryside. She describes everything so you can picture people, situations and surroundings. There are so many interesting people in the O’Brien family. I especially love how it is a continuing story. It reminds me when I started to read the Debbie Macomber “Cedar Cove” books. I can’t wait to read the second novel to find out what happens to the members of the O’Brien family and other characters.

Complimentary copy provided by author/publisher for an honest review Flirts who follow me will see a 4 *wink* read but take in mind this is a debut novel so I always take that into account when reviewing. Also, when I read the synopsis I was excited for a possible angst romance with some tug of war emotions, but this wasn't quite that. After reading the first chapter I knew I had to change my expectations and mind set. What you do get is a super sweet, clean romance with a hallmark holiday movie feel to it. A detailed work that will paint a beautiful picture of a small town covered in snow. The characters aren't too deep. You will get a sense of who they are but not an I'm depth perception of how their minds work. In fact, I feel Rachel's mind consists mainly of her bestie Chelsea. She seems to not make a decision with out the help of her perky, promiscuous, and snarky friend from California. I think she would be a perfect fit for Daniel O'Brien, but that's getting ahead of myself. *wink* I did find myself drawn to the whole O'Brien family, especially Patrick. I claim him as a forever book boyfriend. Just sayin' This is definitely a curl under the blanket kind of book. Get ready for some butterflies as well!! I love a blush read that just gives you those goosebumps while you involuntarily bite your lip in anticipation, and Loving Liam does just that. I can't wait for the next one! 4 *WINK* READ Book Flirts by Jessi
