A chance meeting throws these two middle age characters together in a wonderful debut. With characters that are true to life and completely relatable, you can't go wrong with Loving Lo. Light on MC, heavy on Romance. I'm ready for the next one.

I feel like its a short version of a full length novel and both annoying and disappointing when the poor editing distracts me from getting lost in the book. Lo is hot but i hate it when the main female character has body image issues that effect her self esteem, it is a bad way for me to start out in a book as it makes me want to immediately quit reading and hunt for a better book. I would rather the author focus on strong women that might be damaged or not completely perfect, but not have all of their imperfections be of a completely physical nature.

Meg just got out of a 12 year marriage to the man she thought would love her forever and cherish and keep her and her son safe , but people change .Especially when they cheat and are verbally abusive . Now trying to make a fresh start with her son , she can finally breathe , until she meets a woman at a supermarket who plans on playing matchmaker with her son, but is she ready for what he wants to give her ? Lo is known around the club as a player , someone that will never settle down , but when he meets the woman that took care of his mom , he knows that she is his game changer . Only problem is she's been burned before and in serious denial when it comes to how beautiful she is . Can Lo make Meg feel loved again or is she Damaged beyond repair ? This is the first time I'm reading a book by this author and she didn't disappoint me at all. I loved the characters , especially Megs best friend Cyn and the guys from the MC that just hang around in the background .Each getting their turn to show their personalities and the way they banded together to help Lo win Megs heart.....They are a true brotherhood! I definitely can't wait to hear Cyn and Rigid's storyline ! I also loved the fact that the female character was not a skinny, young hanger on ...she has curves and a teenage son ...she's a real woman , dealing with real issues ! In the beginning I thought oh no , Meg was going to play this weak , damaged female , but she's a firecracker and I think the match between a stern , rough biker like Lo , who also has a sweet , loving side was what brought that out of her ..making me love their storyline . I cant wait to read about the other MC members in the Devil's Knights Series !!

Meg and Lo meet when Meg helps Lo's mother with a diabetic incident at the store. Lo immediately likes what he sees in Meg, but Meg has issues a mile wide and low self-esteem just as bad. Meg allowed her ex-husband, Hunter, to chip away at her self-confidence and self-esteem throughout their 12 year marriage and never really stood up for herself. Lo doesn't know her baggage and is surprised to find that she doesn't see herself the way other do. Meg is 36-years-old and has a 16-year-old son but acts more like a teenager in this book. Meg was crass, loud, trashy and made no bones about who she was, yet withered like a dying flower every time she thought about taking a risk with Lo. She continually compared him to her ex, even though he did nothing to make the comparison even make sense. Lo finally has enough and calls her out on her BS and she still takes her sweet time "finding herself", even though she was divorced for 5 years and he wasn't trying to change her. It got ridiculous and you have to believe in insta-love in order for this story to work. It had grammatical errors, wrong words used and just plain missing words at points. It took away from the story for me.
