Not bad for a debut. But lots of inconsistencies and credulity-straining assumptions. Likeable main character and well-drawn setting.

With a touch of paranormal, funny and witty. Could not put down.

A ghost, lust, murder, blackmail, what more could you want in a mystery? Liked this one, very much.

Print hard to read - no margins. Story rambles. Didn't even finish

My first Susan M. Boyer read and I am hooked. Liz Talbot is a character that feels like a friend. Through trying to solve a family mystery to dealing with feelings from the past, Liz shows bravery and gumption while encountering family, friends and foes. A great read. Looking forward to reading the next Lowcountry story.

Enjoyed every single minute as I did with Low Country Bombshell. South Carolina is one of my favorite places so needless to say both of these books were a great read for me.I plan on reading the next one very soon.

I now have read all 3 of Susan Boyes Lowcountry books and have enjoyed all of them. I like reading about such an interesting place. Amazing how many mysteries happen in small towns.

The reason I chose this book to read is because I like all things about "The Lowcountry". I had never heard of Susan Boyer so I didn't know what to expect. I loved the theme and the plot of this book. The main character Liz Talbot was well developed. It was one of those books that stayed with me well after I had finished it. Can't wait to read the next one in the series.
