About the Author

Joey Ahlbum, a New York City native, graduated from the high school of Art and Design and The School of Visual Arts. His animation and illustration work includes projects for Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, MTV, Frederator,and PBS. He was supervising director on the Emmy winning “Clifford’s Puppy Days” for Scholastic and worked on 9 seasons of “Elmo’s World” for Sesame Street. His personal films have toured in a Best of ASIFA series, been shown in Movies in the Park, the Zagreb Animation Festival, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Film Forum in NYC. He currently lives in Manhattan with his lovely wife and daughter.

An amazingly illustrated book that was such fun to read along to. Definitely want to purchase more of Lucy the Dinosaur books.

A colourful little story that's easy for the kids to read or learn to read. Why not teach them also how to do the voices of the different characters, they'll have great fun!
