This is more than the standard activity book. It has various clever activities that all tie together. I personally love activity books and buy them for my 5 year old grandson. It's clear a lot of thought and care went into writing this book, and was probably tested on Lauren's own family first to make sure it was something actually fun to complete instead of those boring $1 books that are always gifted to kids and never finished. The suggested actions and brightly colored illustrations make this such a fun read for your little one. Bringing the pages to life in a whole new way. This is a great, silly, super fun book with all kinds of activities!

At age one i read and interacted with the story (as suggested) to my granddaughter. Now at age 2, this morning we read it about four times....this afternoon she kept reading it to me complete with motions and voice inflections!   A delightful book that I am going to purchase for a baby gift.

My 3 year old daughter really likes this book. Every page has suggested activities and questions that enhance the story. The bright illustrations bring a sense of fun to the story. When we get to the end, my daughter always insists we read it again. This book is a good buy, and it helps parents to build early literacy skills with their children.

This is a wonderful book. I am a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist working with a variety of children who this book is appropriate for. I love how it provides the family with suggestions on how to interact with their child while they are reading. I have had several occassions when the parent is unsure of how to "read" with their child and this provides them with idea. The illustrations are wonderful. I hope that a series is made out of these adorable characters.
