I have taken a leap of faith and writing this series is now my full time career. Lydia's League of Angels series will demonstrate young women's capacity to accomplish great things, explore relationships between God, men and women, elaborate on justices and injustices relevant to crimes against the female gender and expand on the duties and influences of angels and demons in their celestial world and walking amongst us.

During college I dreamed of becoming an accomplished journalist, but was soon called to a career in social work, education and nonprofits. I had the pleasure to focus on what was very important to me and much needed - the advancement of women and children. The experiences that stayed with me during my career and haunt me to this day, was the unbroken cycle of child sexual abuse, violence toward women, sex trafficking and the overall downward spiral of women and children when it comes to crimes confronting them. The plight of abused women and children continued to overwhelm me and after much research, prayer and conviction, Lydia of Thyatira's descendant's story visualized and then the League of Angels came to their rescue!

I hope readers will fall in love with the characters, who are currently my best friends. They will make you laugh, cry, cheer and believe. I'm a strong believer that recreational reading can also raise spiritual and social consciousness, create awareness and advocate change for the better.
