Lust, Money & Murder: Book 5, On Russian Soil (Book 1 Free) by Mike Wells

When criminal mastermind Giorgio Cattoretti successfully pulls off the largest art heist in history--the spectacular theft of 15 Picasso paintings from the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia--U.S Secret Service Agent Elaine Brogan is sent there on a dangerous undercover mission to capture Cattoretti before the Russians do.

"Fast-paced and packed with unpredictable twists and turns written in Mike Wells' "unputdownable" style, this fifth installment of the Lust, Money & Murder series delivers in spades." Graham Pritchard, Author & Book Reviewer, Syracuse, NY USA

"What a fantastic book! Mike Wells did it again. This nove has everything: a spectacular crime, danger, friendship and much more! Highly recommended." Lady M.K, Canada (Ontario)

"If you had plans for the weekend - cancel them! The story is so gripping you won't be able to put this book down. Not only you will feel like you are On Russian Soil, but you will feel like it is you who is in charge of catching the criminal and escaping the villain. I felt exhausted and exhilarated when I finished the story! Can't wait for Book 6!" - Lizzie, S.F. California

"The book is technically accurate and well-researched, but what makes it exiting is the human element. The characters act in a believable way and their motivations are solid. I swallowed the book almost all in one sitting." -Barry L., St. Louis THE SHOW ME STATE.

Book exchanged for an honest review~ Giorgio "The Cat" Cattoretti is a criminal mastermind behind the art heist in book four. The Cat is hoping that Elaine Brogan will be sent in to investigate art heist. When Secret Service comes knocking on Elaine Brogan's home it can't be good news period. Elaine is flying solo on this mission to capture The Cat before the Russians do. Elaine doesn't feel like her acting skills are up to this level of work but does her best anyway. Can Elaine solve the case? Will Elaine capture Giorgio Cattoretti? Your answers await you in On Russian Soil. I'm continually surprised by how tightly knit this book tangles it's web. I'm never sure one way or another what direction I'll be heading because the author keeps me on my toes. There is nothing boring or old in this series. The story and characters are complex, compelling, intriguing, gritty, raw, flawed, and honest. Looking forward to my next adventure in this delightful series.

Secret Service agent Elaine Brogan travels from her sheltered life in the United States to Russia to lay hands on Giorgio Cattoretti, who has managed to pull of the greatest art heist in history by stealing fifteen paintings by Picasso from a museum in St. Petersburg. Now, Cattoretti has both Elaine and Russian law enforcement in close pursuit, and an agenda of his own to achieve that no one could imagine. Author Mike Wells's BOOK 5: ON RUSSIAN SOIL is the next installment of his Lust, Money & Murder series of crime thrillers. Readers who enjoyed following Elaine in earlier books will appreciate her prominent return in this one as she's drawn in to help capture Cattoretti and maneuver him (by whatever means necessary) across an international border so he can be captured. But hers isn't the only point of view that carries the work. Cattoretti, too, features, as is, perhaps, fitting, given that his actions were what brought Elaine back to the fore in the first place. He remains a cold-blooded, manipulative killer, working just as hard to get his hands on Elaine as she is to get hers on him. The climax of this fifth book in the series will leave readers breathless with anticipation for the sixth installment. My best advice: Trust no one, and expect the unexpected. You'll still be caught off-guard. # # # Author: Mike Wells Title: BOOK 5: ON RUSSIAN SOIL Series: Lust, Money & Murder (#5) ASIN: B00Q8VO0M4 Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this work from the author in exchange for an honest, though not necessarily positive, review.
