Lúthien is a powerful Elf with a talent that has been hunted to the brink of extinction by the Demons. She is a Daughter of the Sun, a female Elf able to help souls find their way in the darkness, and back into the light. Her talent is to spread, and keep, the light amongst her people, and in extreme cases, to help Elves who have lost their way. With the rescue of Garoldth's brother, Golradir, her powers have never been needed more. His treatment at the hands of the Demons has left him scarred, both mentally and physically.
Golradir would have been King instead of Garoldth, if he hadn't been captured. He had been held captive for over fifteen hundred years, and during that time he was tortured mercilessly. Now that he is free he only wants to be left in peace. It is not that simple in the Elven world, especially when the one Elf, who can heal both his body and his soul, is his Life Mate. His soul reaches for hers, but he refuses to allow the connection. He feels unworthy. Tainted. Can he reach past his fears? Or will he let the evil he believes the Demons implanted in the deepest recesses of his soul destroy them both?

Wow what a read. Cried laughed and just plain enjoyed this story. Golradir was abused horribly for 1500 years by the Demons and may I say at this point I really really want the Drazan dead. Liessen still hasn't learned how strong willed his LM is it, is fun to watch him and Aredhal pick at each other. Was very happy Ingwer was brought together with his LM Natulcien. Loved this elf lady and she sure worked miracles along with Luthien to save Golradir along with a lot of others. One of the scenes that really had me crying was when he met Gabriel and Gabriel 's soul remember knowing him from long ago. The bonding in the meadow was wonderful too, love the children dancing and singing. Just a great book.
Luthien’s Song by M.A. Abraham is the 7th book in her Elven Chronicles series. For those who may not know about this series, it is a fun fantasy storyline about Elves, with some wonderful delightful characters that make you laugh, even in the midst of tense action. Luthien’s Song picks up after King’s Daughter left off. Golradir, is in horrible condition, after being abused for over a thousand years at the hands of the demons. The elves who rescued him bring him to Daroth to put together a team of the top known healers in the Elven lands, to handle the horrific task of trying to rebuild Golradir’s body from head to toes. Luthien is a daughter of the sun, who has the ability (mostly kept secret) of healing ones soul, in the hope of bringing them back from the deepest dark depths to the light. When Luthien comes at the call from Daroth, she recognizes right away that the man (or whatever is left of him) lying in front of her is her lifemate. Golradir has buried himself deeply in his mind, where he found protection from the horrors done to him by the demons. Though he senses comfort, as Luthien enters his mind, and brings him to a peaceful place, he fears it is another trick by the demons. I found this to be an amazing story, as M.A Abraham gave us a look at the healing powers of the Elves, many of whom have had their own stories (Eden, Haylo, Tamarak, Eol, Lothariel, etc), and some new healers we meet in this story. We watch at every step the healing done by the team of men and women working together to bring back a former king. What was so amazing was that Abraham made everything so real, detailing all that was done to this poor man and made us feel like we too were participating in the effort by all the Elves. Luthien gave so much of herself to lessen Golradir’s pain by taking some of it, while she offered him her love in their private place in his mind. After time has passed, when Golradir became conscious, much to Luthien’s dismay, he rebuffed her love, because he feared he was tainted. The recovery of Golradir will take three years, as we follow it all. The demons are still around and have set their sights on Luthien, who is a powerful elf that they want. What follows is an exciting adventure to save Luthien, with all of our favorites trekking back to Demon land to find her. Golradir is now able to help; he knows he must save his lifemate from the fate he suffered, and he also wants revenge. Luthien’s Song is also a very nice romance that slowly builds. Luthien’s Song is a poignant and passionate story of destructive evil, heartbreak, and the healing power of love. This book will pull on your emotions throughout, as M.A. Abraham has outdone herself with this amazing story. Well done!!
