About the Author

Ms. Jacqueline P. Walker earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. She has also completed 30 credit hours of coursework in Organizational and Technology Management through the University of Maryland, University College (UMUC) graduate studies program as well as earned certification in "Work Place Communications" through UMUC.
Her first book of poetry, "Mothers, Sisters & Friends" was self-published in the Spring of 2012. This work honors the beauty, grace and strength of women as well as enforces the importance of mentoring and bonding as a motivational tool to encourage and increase achievement by future generations of women. Her current release, "Lyrics of My Reality: Reflections & Inspirations" is a compilation of personal essays, each, complemented by a related original, introspective and poetic writing. This work aims to encourage readers through its focus on topics of hope, support & caring, love & relationship building as well as the value of sisterhood.
