About the Author

Debra Dier is the award winning author of sixteen critically acclaimed romance novels and short stories. Her work has earned her a place in the Writer's Hall of Fame.

Debra was born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York. Although she always knew she wanted to do something creative in life, well-meaning family members talked her into doing something in a much more practical light. She received a BS in Information Systems Management and headed down a career path that included writing computer code and designing computer systems. It wasn't exactly what she had in mind when she thought of a purely creative career. For some mystifying reason, she was put on a fast track in this career and became a manager of other programmers and analysts in a large corporation at a young age. It was then she decided to try her hand at writing something other than computer code. After her first novel, Surrender the Dream was published, she took the plunge into writing full time. She has never regretted that decision.

I thoroughly loved and enjoyed reading the extraordinary and intriguing historical romance novel written and autographed by the Award Winning Author, Debra Dier. I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. Lady Margaret, Meg, is known as the Snow Queen in London. Meg has not seen Alec MacLaren since she was fifteen years old when she had foolishly told him she loved him. Alec is back from the war and has women throwing themselves at him and has not once come to see Meg. Meg's grandmother has an idea on how to get Meg's mother and father's estranged marriage back together. Meg has to pretend to want to marry an Englishman, Blanchard, who is only after her money. Instead of Meg's father coming to London, Meg is kidnapped by Alec and taken back to her father in Scotland. Her father has shocking marriage plans for Meg. Read the beautifully written, captivating and engaging characters, riveting story line, wonderful love story of Meg and Alec.

A childhood love is sensually rekindled in this romantic literature. Dier has set the stage in merry-old Scotland and transported our most dramatic sides into the lonely, loveless lives Meg and Alec. She, the untrusting vixen who hates the men in her life, most of all her own father. And him, the strong, handsome soilder who desires nothing more then to honor his word. Together, they will soon come to find that within their hearts a deeply rooted seed of love and passion has their names written all over it. Highly recommended from this literary reviewer.
