"A quick, sweet, funny read which contains madcap adventure, stolen Art, a gentleman thief, forgeries, a feisty lady, a Scottish scoundrel who tracks down forged Art, and of course a beautiful love story. The reader will be drawn to the characters. Well written with a unique but interesting storyline. Fast paced with plenty of twists and turns. A sweet romance to be sure."

It seemed very rushed and condensed. Then a few chapters of another book to buy...

Marie/Mignon is the daughter of a French Art forger. Rory is an art expert that had been hired to investigate the authenticity of a famous statue. Mignon meets Rory when she tries to stop him from stealing one of her dads paintings. Rory is a supposed art thief. Mignon then decides Rory would be perfect to help her save her dad. Rory is attracted to Mignon and decides to try to help her. This was a good short read. I liked this a lot and laughed at some parts. I didn’t like that Mignon’s dad put her in danger for his safety. And Mignon had to leave. But her dad was a lovable character. I liked all the characters a lot. I loved the ins and outs of this story. I would liked to have this a little longer but I do recommend.

I received an eARC, from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. Mad For Love by Elizabeth Essex is a really sweet, funny and all around great book. Mignon du Blois’ has a father that is a con-artist, French art forger and scoundrel. Rory Cathcart has hear that du Blois’ has made a forgery that Rory is investigating. Rory likes to expose forgeries and end fraud in London. Rory goes undercover at du Blois by acting as a thief. While setting off to find the painting he is found by Mignon. Rory has her convinced that he is a thief but Rory is accident hit over the head by Mignon (funny). Rory steals a kiss from her and then leaves. But they are bound to run into each other again...how else can they fall in love?

#1 in the new and exciting "Highland Brides" series. A quick, sweet, funny read which contains madcap adventure, stolen Art, a gentleman thief, forgeries, a feisty lady, a Scottish scoundrel who tracks down forged Art, and of course a beautiful love story. The reader will be drawn to the characters. Well written with a unique but interesting storyline. Fast paced with plenty of twists and turns. A sweet romance to be sure. Fans of quick reads, novellas, Historical Romance, a Highland in England, Scottish Regency, the Art world, and sweet romance will find this read enjoyable and satisfying. Perfect for summer reading, while waiting in a Doctors office, or even waitting in a Airport terminal. A sweet read! A must read. I certainly look forward to reading more from the "Highland Brides". A warning...this is unlike some of the other Elizabeth Essex stories, I have read, but in a good way. *Received for an honest review from Net Galley* Rating: 4 Heat rating: Sweet Reviewed by: AprilR, courtesy of My Book Addiction and More
