About the Author

Michelle Owens was once employed as a district parole officer and has worked with ex-convicts who committed a cornucopia of crimes, including murder. During this time, she was able to gain insight into the minds of many of the criminals and was intrigued by some of the crimes that were committed. She currently works in the field of social work and continues to be inspired by everyday people and the controversies that surround them. Michelle has a BS in Criminal Justice and Social Work and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction; she resides with her family and three dogs in Texas.
