AUTHOR'S PREFERRED EDITION!

A humorous paranormal romance by USA Today bestselling author Mindy Klasky.

Librarian-witch Jane Madison is learning a magical lesson the hard way: use it or lose it! Juggling major deadlines at work and a jam-packed social schedule, Jane has taken a break from her arcane life. Now, her magic is taking a break from her--books are fading, runes are crumbling, and her entire witchy collection may soon be lost.

Ordinarily, Jane would just buckle down and work a spell or two. But things are strained after an unexpectedly amorous encounter with her arcane protector, David Montrose. And her love life gets even more complicated when she meets a great guy--the type of man a smart woman marries. Moreover, she's obligated to serve as maid of honor for her beloved grandmother, and her library career won't take no for an answer. Desperate, Jane stakes everything on one last-ditch spell.

Will Jane get her magic back? Or will she be finished as a witch forever?

Romantic Times
Filled with magic -- both of the witch world and the romance world -- complicated family relationships and a heavy dose of chick-lit humor, this story is the perfect ending to the series.

I loved the craziness of the first and enjoyed the "sassy-ness" of the second. This third one seems to drop a notch. Perhaps it was because Jane's enthusiasm seems to drop. The circumstances of the story are mellow compared to the first two. As I finished it, I wondered if (and hoped) it was a prelude to a much more wild and crazy installment.

Ok, so Jane and her magical dilemas are still kinda fun, but Klasky wasn´t able to recreate the atmospehere of her first novel, which I absoluteley adored! I read the second and ended disapointed and the same goes for this one! I can´t say it´s a good trilogy, it´s only a good first novel.

I loved this book and the two before it. The ending was great, just what I'd been hoping for.

Like other readers, I fell in love with the characters in the first novel. This one seemed a bit more serious to me because of what was on the line for Jane. I enjoyed reading this installment and will continue to follow Jane on her adventures in life and love.
