About the Author

Lili Valente has slept under the stars in Greece, eaten dinner at midnight with French men who couldn’t be trusted to keep their mouths on their food, and walked alone through Munich’s red light district after dark and lived to tell the tale.

These days you can find her writing in a tent beside the sea, drinking coconut water and thinking delightfully dirty thoughts.

4.5 Stars - Great characters, fun read! Enjoyed the unique story from the man's point of view for a change and looking forward to Aidan's story... This was the first in a new series, but no cliff hanger, the second book will be about a character we've met in the first, and I like that approach.

This book is funny, naughty, and sweet. I love Bash and Penny and all their banter. I laughed and I fell in love right along with them.

This is a fantastic story! It has everything a great story should; a gorgeous hero who wants to right every wrong perpetrated by men against women, and brilliant heroine, intrigue, steamy hot boudoir happenings, and an HEA that rivals any Disney "happily ever after." This is a must read if you enjoy a very well written book (from HIS perspective, which I LOVED...who doesn't like getting into his head for once ?), that will make you believe there is hot, steamy, true love after heartbreak. Lily has a true gift of the written word that makes you feel the characters every emotion, willing you to keep coming back for more. Thank you for sharing your incredible ability to make written emotions living breathing things.

This may be my new favorite book by Lili Valente! When I first read the blurb for this book I was never expecting it to be as heartfelt and loving as it is. While the premise for the book is pretty original and done in a very tongue-in-cheek way, it is actually a very sweet and romantic love story. I think what I liked best about this book was that there wasn't a lot of angst and drama between Bash and Penny. They were both very upfront with their flirtation and didn't send each other mixed signals. It was obvious from the get-go that they had passion and chemistry and I loved that Bash wasn't ashamed to admit it. Sure they hit a slight bump in the road but what lovable couple doesn't. I would highly recommend this book and although it's a stand alone novel, I would love to see these two again in another book:)
