The material was good. But how is the book just going to stop right there? They could have came up with a better idea for the ending.

The main male character jason was an arrogant idiot. Do not know how any normal woman in her right mind would want a man like that. Didnt really like this book. Wont be reading amymore of this story.

Of an arrogant conceited rock star chasing after a hotel maid who will get fired for fraternizing with residents. And a very unfulfilling ending... Not enough draw to read the rest

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Jay Felix was lead singer of Chaya. He was a 25yr old rock star and his band was breaking up. Audra was a housekeeper on Romance Island who just got bumped up to taking care of the VIP villas. She had been working part-time on hospitality jobs since she turned 14, 7yrs ago. She always had a crush on Jay Felix. I loved the characters and plots, but I felt the ending left you hanging, but the rest of the story was great. I recommend, just a note on the ending. I would've preferred an Epilogue so the story had been complete.

This was a fun and flirty book, but with some serious underlying issues. I enjoyed the interaction between Audra and Jay and watching Audra grow up a bit through the book. My favorite character had to be Serge though...what a good friend. Especially when he stuck up for Audra when Penny attacked her. The only disappointing part was the end. It was so abrupt. But it is a series, so we’ll see what’s next... Can’t wait!

. I really enjoyed this book and would totally love to read the next 4 in this series. Jay is a rock star that comes to stay on the island while Audra is the maid assigned to the bungalow that he is staying in. He started out a little hard to like but I had fallen for him by the time she gave in to him too. Really well written story. Should be an awesome series!.

This story about Audra, a hotel maid, and Jay, a pampered rock star, is an unlikely romance between two people who come from opposite backgrounds. Audra comes from a poor family and is working at the hotel to try to make extra money to support her family as well as live a better life herself, and maybe one day attend college. Jay is a pampered celebrity who is used to having the attention of every female in his presence until he meets Audra. He is not used to her standoffish attitude, or her unwillingness to fall over every word he says. This is a cute story about how opposites attract for two young people and the love story that entails.

This didn't really catch my eye at first, but I thought "What the hell?" I'm glad I did. Enjoyed all of it. Can't wait to read more in the series!

My Disclaimer: I was provided a free copy of this book when I signed up for the author’s newsletter. I am providing an honest review for which I am receiving no compensation of any kind. All opinions are fully my own. ~ Judi E. Easley for Blue Cat Review My Review: ✭✭✭ Audra’s the hard working maid at the resort who’s trying to stay out of trouble so she can get the internship she’s applying for with the weather service. She’s got her degree, now she wants to put it to use. She’s well-written and has good depth to her. She’s an educated young woman with a degree working a job to get through until she can make that connection to a career. Along comes the rock star. He’s arrogant and demanding and he wants her. She spends all her time answering his service calls and fending off his advances. Jay Felix is shallow and crude, that’s how he’s written. A bit too crude for my taste. His one thought is sex. He’s also extremely good looking and in great shape. He can’t seem to keep his clothes on, either. And she’s having a hard time keeping her eyes and hands off him. The action is good and quite often amusing. When he’s injured, she nurses him and pampers him. And resists him, right up until the end. Is she off for Antarctica to forecast the weather? That would be telling. Get your own copy of Maid for the Rock Star and read all about the frolics taking place at Romance Island Resort when rock royalty drops in.

This was my first book by Demelza Carlton in the romance area and I’m not sure if I would read another one or not. The reason is the language and sex in the book. The “F” word was used so much in the book that it turned me off. It’s a very sexual charged book and that’s great if it’s what you like to read. That being said, I loved the concept of the book. The idea of a maid getting to be the one to have to work with a rock star that she idealized is great. The story about the rock star dealing with issues that are effecting his life is also great. The story is great but I think it could have been told without all the “F” words and less description of the sex. I really am not a prude.

Maid for the Rock Star by Demelza Carlton is a really well written romantic read. It is my first one with Carlton, but it will not be my last. Jay (rock star) is kind of a jerk, but Audra is sweet and kind to him, as much as she can. This HEA still left the door open for more. And I definitely want more.

Boring and stupid plot.

Extra extra read all vulger sex language over and over. I get the point, it's an act. That did not excuse the over used words and phrases. Very disappointed, and rather glad when the book ended. I will not be looking to read any more from this author.
