A very cute story about a mail order bride. Georgia is frustrated that her father and brothers are trying to pick a husband for her, so she decides to find a husband herself. Austin thinks his bride will come to enjoy ranching life once she gets used to it. He expects that being a lady from Boston, all will be new to her. When Georgia arrives, they are both attracted to each other and hopeful that the marriage will work out. However, she is appalled to find out that most wives in the area are spanked by their husbands for misbehavior and she is having trouble following Austin's rules for her safety. Within days she is heading into town to find work. Can they work things out and be happy together? Can Austin adjust to having a wife who rides, can rope, and shoot a gun well? Can Georgia obey Austin or adjust to spanking? The answers are swift and fun. You will enjoy the ride.

Austin thinks he is getting a dainty Boston city girl for his mail order bride. What he gets is Georgia. A woman who is able to rope, ride, and shoot just as well as any man. She has her own opinions and is not a wilting flower. Austin knows just how to tame her though.

I love mail order bride stories. It makes me think of the courage it had to take to go out west to marry someone you'd never met. This is a well written story with lots of romance but adventure too. At the beginning sparks fly from the moment Georgia meets her new husband. Georgia is especially upset when she learns that her new husband spanks. Then as things settle a little the author adds in some mystery to keep up the fast pace of this story. There's an attempted murder and a man hunt. If you enjoy lots of action with your romance you'll love this story.

I would have to say that most men that "order" a bride, don't get a bride quite like our heroine ,Georgia!! She feisty with a capital F!! She is also smart, good with a gun, can ride with a posse, and track a criminal. She can also find herself in trouble with Austin, the man she goes to Wyoming to marry! Don't worry though, Austin can handle her. And he does, in all the best possible ways: patience, love, support, and when needed, a good spanking! Many twists and turns in this story, it was sweet, with just implied sex, but I loved it!!

Georgia is a young women in the 1890's that knows her own mind. And she is bound and determined that she is not going to allow her father or her brothers to pick her husband. Even if they are well meaning. Georgia becomes a mail order bride to Austin Barrington and soon learns that not all of her headstrong, act without thinking it through, ideas are going to pass by her strong, dominant, husband. And he believes in spanking if she doesn't learn to curtail her adventures a bit. This story was truly exciting and very enjoyable to read.
