Once again Little manages to turn something normal and mundane into something sinister and evil. What a great story. This is one of Little's better works in my opinion. The characterization of the evil in this book was done superbly and while reading there was a genuine creepiness that I left with every time I put the book down. This is definitely one I would recommend. I'll never look at the mail the same again.

Who knew such a normal everyday occurence- getting mail, could turn into a horror story that actually makes you question where your mail is coming from! "The Mailman" is a unique horror novel, with twists, turns, and grotesque situations that will make your skin crawl. Little knows how to shock his readers, and continues to do so in all of his novels. This book is recommended to all fans of the horror genre, and Little himself. I really cant understand why they havent republished "The Mailman" yet, but they should, because it will sell!

Who knew the mailman had so much control over our lives. I will remember to be nicer to Mr. and Ms. Postal Employee from now on, lest my mortgage payment end up 'lost in the mail.' Great read!

This was my first Bentley book and I am now looking to get more. It was GREAT! This book is a page turner and the unexpected keeps happening. I also enjoyed the twisted humor.

I've read most of Bentley Little's books. He starts off strong and you can't put the book down, then the story gets silly- like how the Mailman is singing the Postman's creed under the moonlight. Mr. Little writes weird stuff, but there's no one else like him that I know of. Good story- unbelievable, but that's what makes it fun.

This is a great book. I highly recommend it to horror fans. The book's bad guy is a creepy and mysterious mailman who starts wreacking havoc on a town, manipulating them through the mail. The underlying sarcasm is inescapable and welcome, if you've had any complications with mail before! You should add this to your collection, especially if you are a fan of Little's other books. The story is just great! Don't miss it!
