There were innumerable requests from acquaintances both in India and abroad, including my own daughters in law to publish for them a suitable book covering the neivEdyams that are necessary for pUjAs. Besides, my husband, wanted to separate this section from his book on performing pUjAs to enable males to conduct them while the ladies could use a separate book for preparing neivEdyams. Accordingly, this book is written to form Part II of his book, "Major PUjAs in South India - Tamil Nadu (Procedures) Part I" and covers all neivEdyams (offerings) needed for pUjAs.
Most of the items also form the savouries and snakes needed for evening munching as such everyone will be benefited by this book. You cannot find such an informative book and guide in this category, which is also well illustrated, anywhere. It is an asset not only to you but also to the posterity. Keeping in mind its usefulness to all, its price has been fixed at the minimum level possible.
