A RITA Award finalist, Contemporary Romance: Long.

Chloe Carmichael’s life feels pretty sweet—she’s both maid of honor and florist for her best friend’s A-list wedding, things are getting serious with her boyfriend, and her flower shop is about to get a spread in a national magazine. But it all quickly turns sour whenever the best man, Bad Habit drummer A.J. Edwards, shows his face...his handsome, unforgettable face. A.J. is everything Chloe doesn’t want: tattooed, selfish, and all-around bad news. So why can’t she stop thinking about him?

Goody two-shoes Chloe isn’t exactly A.J.’s type, either, but the chemistry between them is undeniable. A.J. will be the first to say he isn’t a saint, but there’s something he’s not saying—something that would devastate Chloe. The only way he can protect her is to push her away, but the drummer finds he needs her now more than ever. When a wedding-day confrontation reveals secrets they’re both hiding, will Chloe and A.J. ever find their rhythm again?

Make me sin and Sin with me, Bad Habit series, J.T. Geissinger Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews Genre:  Romance I enjoyed book one, and saw books two and three were on KU. I love JT's writing style in paranormal reads, and after enjoying the first in this series I knew that her contemporary reads suited me too. Sometimes the transition works, other times I find I enjoy books in one genre by authors, but not a different one.  I remember Chloe and AJ from the first book, and the wedding from that one brings the two closer together - and boy, did those sparks fly. Chloe and AJ have some serious heat between them and as usul AJ writes that in a very believable way. I could see events playing out as they did here. Of course its never plain sailing is it, there's always something holding them back and this one was something outside the norm. I loved that, sometimes the barriers, restrictions and issues seem to be cut from the same page in romance novels, so its always fun when an author comes up with something new.  A great read, my favourite so far.  Stars: Five, a terrific band book, with realistic characters.

We watched Chloe and A.J. exhibit their hatred for each other in the first Bad Habit novel, Sweet as Sin, so knowing this was an enemies to lovers trope (not my favorite) I had been putting off reading this book. It started off very quickly and I was soon immersed in A. J. and Chloe’s gritty love story. This was not a sweet book-it was however, a sexy book. But the word that better describes it is gritty. It was also honest, had my stomach churning and my heart breaking. For me, not an easy book to read. I prefer sweet, funny romances and, this one had to go through a lot of dark to get to the sweet. That darkness actually made their journey that much more special, because when they finally entered the light it was that much brighter. A. J.’s back story was pretty awful, and when he finally opens up to Chloe about it she just takes it all in, no judgement. She just loves him and hopes that love will help him heal. His nickname for her was Angel, and that was how I thought of her too, because I f that had been me, I would’ve gone screaming into the night, gotten fake paperwork and disappeared from his life forever. Yep, his story was that dark, and Chloe didn’t even flinch. I’m not sure that was entirely realistic, but it made for a great story, and I read through the night to see it through to the end.

*ARC received from Montlake Romance Publishing in return for an honest review* I loved the first book of this series so much I didn't think this one could possibly be as good, but I was dead wrong. Chloe and AJ's story is an emotional roller coaster. Their romance is passionate, sweet, touching and painful. These are characters you get very attached to. Chloe is the same sweet girl she is in book one. AJ, is a troubled man who tries to fight his feelings for Chloe by pushing her away. His story is heartwrenching. The story builds gradually through the first half of the book but really picks up about halfway through and the last 20% just wrung me out emotionally and I am still on the verge of tears. I was so wrapped up in the story that I could not put it down. This author has written two great books in this series and I can't imagine how Grace and Brody's story can live up to the two preceding but I am sure she will pull it off. I can't wait to read it.

AJ is a drummer in the rock band Bad Habit. His bandmate Nico is getting married and he's the best man. AJ is very mean and hurtful to Chloe who to be the maid of honor. What Chloe can't understand is why. I read this story at one setting. I just couldn't put it down. All the ups and downs Chloe went through as well as AJ just made this one of the best romances I've read in a while. I loved it and highly recommend. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review

Make Me Sin (Bad Habit #2) by J.T. Geissinger Make Me Sin by J.T. Geissinger is an amazing story that had me awestruck. This contemporary rock star romance in set in Los Angeles and suitable for both New Adult and Adult readers. At the end of book one, Bad Habit lead singer Nico Nix and Kat Reid became engaged to each other. In book two, Bad Habit Drummer, A.J. Edwards and florist, Chloe Carmichael are standing up in the wedding together. They are complete opposites, and they cannot stand each other. Well at least, that’s what they originally think. I love A.J. Character. He has so many painful secrets. He is an intense character that you like more and more as his story is uncovered. There is a side to him that no one knows about. I love how he got his dog, Bella. Chloe is sweet and hard working. She is a little naive, but that is part of her charm. Then of course there is the rest of the band and Chloe’s friends. They are good friends, and I enjoy their interaction. They are a real family. The plot was incredible. There were multiple unexpected twists that kept me riveted. There was an excellent use of foreshadowing. Make Me Sin truly held me captivated. I loved this story. It had me crying, cheering, and hoping. My heart went out to A.J. and Chloe. J.T. Geissinger’s books continue to impress me. She is an amazing writer who does a great job of tapping into your emotions. Her writing style is impressive and seamless. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. Complimentary copy provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 stars---MAKE ME SIN is the second installment in J.T. Geissinger’s contemporary, adult BAD HABIT rocker romance focusing on the members of the rock band BAD HABIT. This is drummer A. J. Edwards, and florist Chloe Carmichael’s story line. MAKE ME SIN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. A.J. and Chloe were first introduced in book one SWEET AS SIN. Told from first person point of view (Chloe) with a few chapters from A.J, MAKE ME SIN follows the rocky relationship between Chloe and AJ. From their first meeting in book one SWEET AS SIN, A.J. has treated Chloe with so much disdain and anger that you would have thought Chloe had destroyed his favorite toy. Something about Chloe torments A.J, and he is desperate to both push away, and keep close the woman with whom he will fall in love. The animosity and hatred toward Chloe continues throughout a good portion of MAKE ME SIN and in this we begin to wonder about the who and why of A.J’s past. Chloe will eventually see through A.J’s hardened façade and his darkest emotions such that A.J. will begin to unravel before her very eyes. The relationship between AJ and Chloe is one of immediate attraction but A.J’s hostility and venom towards Chloe is reprehensible and there is no explanation for his abhorrent behavior. Days and weeks go by and A.J.’s hostility knows no boundaries but our couple will have to call a truce to their one sided contempt as they prepare for Nico and Kat’s upcoming nuptials-a wedding that will cost them both when secrets are revealed and the past comes back for revenge. The $ex scenes are intimate, intense and steamy. Nico and Kat, as well as Bad Habit guitarist Brody play secondary and supporting roles throughout the story. Brody has eyes for Chloe’s friend Grace-a couples counselor whose own past is mired in lost memories and painful loss. And Eric-what can I say about Chloe’s former boyfriend that would shed some positive light on his behavior-nothing. Chloe’s brother James is a welcome addition to the series-here’s hoping James has a story of his own to tell. The world building continues to focus on the members of the band –their pasts, their presents and their potential futures but also on the tactile atmosphere of the abandoned hotel where A.J. hides from the world and his sine. MAKE ME SIN is an emotional and passionate story line with a complex, multi layered leading hero whose past is mired in so much tragedy and pain, that you never have to wonder why it is he is ready to lash out at the people he loves. In life, there are winners and losers, and A.J. believes he has been lost from the start-his early years are a testament to survival against the odds, but how one survives is a matter of interpretation and his vulnerability is an open wound that keeps festering as time goes by. J. T. Geissinger’s BAD HABIT series is beautiful as it is heartbreaking; painful as it soothes; captivating while pushing the boundaries of our bleeding hearts. MAKE ME SIN is sensual, emotional, passionate and dramatic; the characters are engaging, intoxicating and intense; the romance is provocative, and full of anguish and pain. The happily ever after comes at a price, but a price that our couple are willing to pay.

I really have no words to describe how very much I adored this book. I really enjoyed the first in the series, but I am just completely blown away by Chloe and AJ's story. We get to see sides of both these characters that were completely unexpected. This is not a cookie-cutter romance by any stretch of the imagination. I have rarely read a romance that contained so many facets and dimensions. My emotions ran the gamut throughout. There were laugh out loud moments, throw the book across the room moments, smack a character upside the head moments, breathtaking ones, and ones that had tears streaming down my face. This is a must read book and is one of my top favorite romances of all time. I have no idea how Geissinger could possibly top this and it's 100% okay with me if she never does. This one will be treasured forever. *I received an ARC via Netgalley in exchange for an HONEST review*

Prepare to ugly cry she says...yeah, well thanks, but no thanks for the heads up girl- didn't help at all! You tore me apart woman. TORE. ME. A PART. Chloe and AJ intrigued me in Sweet as Sin, especially since Chloe is in a relationship at the beginning of the book, and she and AJ seem to hate each other more than anything. But that's just AJ isn't it. OOOhhh AJ. I knew I was in trouble from the beginning. Forget about Chloe, that girl was a forgone conclusion. But ME, oh boy, he had me from the little slip of accent when talking to Kat in the previous book. Many people ATTEMPT to write a broken man, a mysterious man, a dark and twisty, self loathing, damaged man, but not many accomplish this feat. Geissinger, however, writes AJ with absolute flawlessness. Even with all of his secrets revealed, he still holds an air of mystery. And with that you are gutted, completely and utterly torn apart. Oh, who am I kidding, we can't forget about Chloe, and I may have a bit of a girl crush on the friendship between her, Kat, and Grace. I look forward to every single encounter they have, whether its for drinks or unwavering moral support. They're my kinda ladies. I have officially become a fan of rockstar lit. I absolutely adore this series, and am now impatiently waiting for Grace and Brody's story. For a BonusReview to go my BLOG at

Wow!! That was my exact feeling when I finished this one. This is the first book I've read by this author so I wasn't sure what to expect. What I found was an amazing enemy to lovers story with incredibly complex characters. AJ is this dark brooding character with a past that will make you weep. Chloe is happy, bright and her life is going quite well. There is something about AJ that gets under her skin though and while outwardly it would seem that she hates him but truthfully she's intrigued by him. Their story is one you don't want to miss!! And now that I've discovered this author my tbr list just grew!! I highly recommend this one.

ARC provided by NetGalley for an honest review. If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would! I couldn't put this book down! I loved all the characters. The chemistry between Chloe and AJ were spot on. For once I didn't think the female character was too whiny, which was nice for a change. There was enough drama to make the story hard to put down but not too much to make it ridiculous. Loved it!
