Rosemarie didn’t join the EarthSeekers because she wanted to learn every language that exists amongst the stars. She didn’t join because she wanted revenge on the unknown species that suddenly appeared in Earth’s skies and wiped out Quebec. No… Rosemarie joined the EarthSeekers for General Marcus Aurelius. Enthralled with the General since she met him as a young child, Rosemarie has always kept a special place for him open in her heart. She knew that one day, no matter the circumstances, her heart was where he would end up. What she didn’t know, was how difficult it would be to woo him there, or how far she would go.
Unable to cope with his distance any longer, Rosemarie takes a chance during a visit to an alien world and purchases an aphrodisiac makeup. Touted as being nothing more than snake oil, Rosemarie is delighted when Aurelius truly notices her and finally takes an interest. Content at first that she’s with the man she’s always loved, Rosemarie comes to doubt whether his love, born from a bottle, is true love at all. As her guilt eats away at her, the tension in the Galaxy continues to rise.
Eventually, Rosemarie comes to a decision… Risk the love of her soulmate and tell him the truth… Or live day to day with someone, whose vision of her is filtered solely through rose-colored glasses.
About the Author
Victoria Pinder grew up in Irish Catholic Boston before moving to the Miami sun. She’s worked in engineering, after passing many tests proving how easy Math came to her. Then hating her life at the age of twenty four, she decided to go to law school. Four years later, after passing the bar and practicing very little, she realized that she hates the practice of law. She refused to one day turn 50 and realize she had nothing but her career and hours at a desk. After realizing she needed change, she became a high school teacher. Teaching is rewarding, but writing is a passion.
During all this time, she always wrote stories to entertain herself or calm down. Her parents are practical minded people demanding a job, and Victoria spent too many years living other people’s dreams, but when she sat down to see what skill she had that matched what she enjoyed doing, writing became so obvious. The middle school year book when someone wrote in it that one day she’d be a writer made sense when she turned thirty.
She’s always been determined. She is amazing, adventurous and assured on a regular basis. Her website is www.victoriapinder.com. Please go and sign up for her newsletter.
