THE BEST. Couldn't stop reading. This book has so many useful tips and tricks to pursuing your career in the Fashion Industry. I so wish I had read this when I first started college... As I am about to move to New York I feel so much more informed and can honestly say I feel ready to start my career there now that I have read this book.
This book is worth every penny! For anyone curious about the fashion industry it's a must read. It's written in such an engaging and approachable way. I read it so quickly because of how interesting and helpful it was. It makes the fashion industry seem attainable and not so far away. As an aspiring fashion illustrator it gave me such confidence that I really have a chance at my dream career! And it made me realize that my boring part time job isn't the only thing I can do. Caroline gives such great insight to what it's really like to attend a fashion show and gives great advice on the best way to get invited! But the best advice she gives, in my opinion, is how to break into the industry. We all know that it's not easy but, she makes it sound like it's really possible! It was so good I'm hoping for a second book! I really encourage any one interested in fashion to read this! So inspiring, as soon as I finished reading it I started applying for internships!
