Malice's Possession by Jenika Snow

Trevor "Malice" Mason once had an old lady, and he doesn't need another one. Taking care of his son and being there for The Brothers of Menace MC are what is important to him. The only kind of female company he needs is the one that can warm his bed at night.

Adrianna Carmine has led a tough life, but she is a survivor. When she allows herself to fall for the saccharine falseness of comfort from her now ex-boyfriend, her only escape is to either die trying, or kill the man that exacts pleasure from hurting her.

When Malice finds Adrianna wounded and alone, protecting her consumes him. After delivering retribution to the one that hurt her he takes her back to River Run, hoping that she can heal. But Malice wants her something fierce and staying away isn't an option, even if she deserves better.

Great start to a new series! Lots of drama, steaminess, and can't wait for the next one to come out!

I really enjoyed the story and want to read more of this series, but I felt the ending was a little too abrupt. There was still more story that could have been told so it made the ending feel rushed. Otherwise, I liked it. The characters were interesting and I love how possessive yet tender Malice could be - with the right woman of course. I did wish to see more family time with Malice, his son, and Adrianna. The boy is talked about a lot, but then it's like he's forgotten by the end.

Not bad but not great... I expected more, I mean it's Malice! The Sergeant at Arms, the Enforcer for the MC for crying out loud! While he did show how tough and skilled he could be, I feel the book focused more on the selling of the women than anything else and while we're on that subject why in the hell do these bikers think that if the women decide they don't want to go back to prostitution then the next best thing is cooking and cleaning? Why don't they offer to send them to some type of training school or heck even a regular school where they can earn a degree. Or help them get a job at a office or something, why does it have to be domestic work? Anyway, the whole aspect with the church cult is actually really good and interesting but the author focused so much on the women that she didn't expand on the cult so we're basically left with little to no information, a bunch of pissed off bikers, a lukewarm relationship between Malice and Adrianna and a slight cliffhanger! I think if the author would have went with the cult scenario, fixed all of the grammatical errors, of which there are MANY, had at least three really hot intense sexual encounters instead of just the one, it would have been a five star! I think I am going to stop reading this series. The woman all "look" the same, short and heavy, and the stories are lame and rushed. So much potential and so little devevlopment.
